Yep if named he’s a basically a must have unless you wanna bet against him

We still have trials to go but this season doesn’t have any basement price obvious sure things like they usually do (eg Hopgood, May)

True. I'm not hearing a lot of cheapie names as certain starters this year. Though apparently there'll be a lot of 2nd row cheapie option possibilities.

There’s quite a few 2RFs and some CTWs but a lot are in the 300-450 range which is moving into mid rather than cheapie, and most of them are up in the air for role/time

Trials and then R1 team lists will give a lot of info.

I wonder who will be my Pele/Momoisea who I get trapped into this year?
And who will be my Doorey over Cartwright or Host over KK I get baited into by them seemingly being ahead for round 1

Definitely Xerri's a leading candidate. And probably the storm fill-in fullback for a lot of people.

The big question for our forum is probably around how Tindall will affect Hynes' scoring, if at all? Anyone have enough to run with both?

Don’t think he’d hurt Hynes much on SC
I think Fantasy uses kick meters in their scoring? Not as across that one

Storm fill in fb is must have if he gets a start but wouldn’t touch him before that. If he plays off the bench and scores well twice easy enough to downgrade someone to him.

Yep. NRL Fantasy = 1 point for each 30m of kicks in general play. Makes "only kicker on the team" guys like SJ more valuable.

Canberra will surely provide a cheapy or two in the backs ..
Quite possibly

Or not unrealistic to imagine

Kris
Hopoate
Cotric
Timoko
Rapana
Weekes (averaging like 30)

To give you one cheapie you’re not even that happy to have

Kris is suspended till round 4 and Cotric is himself in cheapie range ..

What about Savage? Fair chance of a run with Kris out.

So you get one price rise out of Chevy and then have him not playing.
And Cotric earned that **** price.

Decent chance there is someone good to grab in Canberra back line, but just saying I don’t think it’s a home run.

He’d maybe be a bit safer than Chevy if named at FB. Better chance of reverting to wing if Kris goes back to FB

Be good to have some confidence whoever you grab stays in the team more than the four weeks Kris is out. Trials hopefully give an indication

Realistically an avoid. Probably good for points but you'd still probably my miss out on a decent PayPal when Paps did return 2-3 rounds in.

Savage is looking underpriced, so could be a good options if he can get a half dozen 80 minute games. Any less though and you'll get stuck with him for half the season (which I now read as basically what Bort said).

Interesting option - my gut feels a good cheapie will emerge in the CTW there - not really feeling it with Weekes - but as Bort says - trial line up and form crucial ..

Yeah there’ll be some good ones, just don’t have any sure things yet like ‘whoever the new panthers winger is’ of previous seasons

Bostock is another. I’d like to see him up his work rate in trials but currently apparently expected to win a wing for Dolphins… although outside Herbie who isn’t a big fan of passing sometimes
