Cronk just said Chad's kicking and game management CRAP.
Not giving the 13 remaining players a break

Yeah I agree. It was crap.
Sorry, CRAP.
But one or two of those come off and we might get a try and be able to compete. I don’t think we can compete by trying to grab an extra 14 seconds breather a few times. If score was level or in front different story. And worse things got the more he had to keep trying it things
Now they didn’t come off because he was exhausted, only half and is mediocre. But again, I don’t think we win by trying to manage an extra breather or two either.

Was there one even two good kicks he did for the whole game kicking it by himself ?

What was the opportunity?
The opportunity to try solo half our team to victory with no bench and fill in fullback? Pretty **** opportunity.

He was pretty **** but let’s not pretend like this was some some golden opportunity one of the bottom halves in the league should have been expected to carry us out from. If nobody else dropped a ball or missed a tackle sure maybe we can then ignore fatigue a bit and solo blame Chad but I doubt any half in the NRL carries a team out of that

just at a few point in the game. poor kick choices and getting our team in field position.
I'm not blaming chad for the loss! the circumstances were very tough.
moses gone. brown never stepped up and was quiet; chad could have stepped up at certain times thats all. i'm sure im reading it elsewhere

unfortunately I won't be going back to constantly review that loss. get a burgess report onto that!!!

and
I don't have an archive handy to show you examples right now of other halves in history who have controlled a game and come back in tough circumstances. maybe lewis, langer, johns, kimmorley, cronk, thurston, ricky stuart, lockyer???? maybe one of those guys may have pulled team out of a bad situation

alright bort
ok fair enough there was no opportunity for him to rise up tonight

My goodness there are some diabolical comments tonight. We all seem to be fixated on certain players performances rather than give some praise for how great our defensive effort was tonight. If anyone played dumb tonight it was Parra. With only Moses down and no bench for us they should have put 30-40 on us in the second half.

Defending for that amount of time with no rest takes it out of you and it was natural that we were gassed and couldn’t get our attack right.

Despite what some of you idiots are saying EVERY BLOKE IN BLACK WHITE AND BLUE TRIED THEIR GUTS OUT TONIGHT.

If you couldn’t see that you need to go and follow a different sport.

Deadset some of the comments on here belong on Facebook, they are so childish, thoughtless and just plain idiotic.

Like to see some of you guys try and play the game under that much adversity tonight.

You never know, you pay your halves to control the game and get your team in certain positions.. no point of having them if they can’t do that

Sorry Bort, but you mean cRaP.

And yep, our only chance tonight was fluking a hail mary or two. Chad wasn't good enough to pull it off

wait, is that Chad or ‘Chad’ typing
It was indeed a gutsy effort - but some of the guys are very predictable due to their skill level

Chad tried his guts out sure ..... but he was a huge reason we were constantly under pressures. He is paid paid what 700k per year? And dishes that up? Not giving his players a rest is inexcusable so just stop defending him. He did not do the he jersey proud at all. He was diabolical. If we had a decent half we probably win that game or atleast make it a lot closer than it was.

We wouldn't have won that game with Joey Johns in the 7.

Mate, I know you’re trying to make a joke but it’s not a very good one.

Skill level is hard to show when you have to manage a game like that.

Yes it's tough, but for what he is on he needed to step up and he didn't. Again, like each and every other week he shows us that his effort doesn't match his skill.

Chad failed to manage the game. That - outside of not having an 18th man HIA rule - is the issue.

Everyone's VERY proud of our defensivw effort Chad .
We're all just disappointed in Chads kicking game.
Charge downs , out in full , down fullbacks throat , not slowing play down etc
Apart from that kicking good :)

Not sure if you’re serious at all in that post mate, I hope not. Where did I defend CT in that post? I didn’t mention him once. You jumped to that conclusion.

Any decent half is not going to win that game I don’t care how elite they are. It doesn’t matter what players are paid, no need to bring that into it, doesn’t make them superman if they earn that wage.

If CT dishes up a poor game where we are not short of players and out on their feet then I will be the first to criticise him. You can depend on that.

Anyone thinking Chad had a good game tonight needs to reevaluate their expectations of what a normal halfback should be.

If Morris can drop Chad next game I’ll be all in signing him for a three year deal right now. He claims to be picking on form so Tracey should get that spot over him. Even if Tracey bombs out atleast it shows that Chad isn’t untouchable

Why are people so fixated on that in this particular game.

Criticise the crap out of him if he plays poorly when we are at full strength but tonight is not the night to do that.

The only comments here tonight that I could imagine you’d be criticizing are the ones about Chad as everything else was very positive except for him so assumed you were defending Chad
