Field position and dropping the opposition wingers back, I’d say. It’s not like it was done every time.

I’m not a huge fan of it either. But there were sets where we were being pinned in our own 20 and getting hammered.

I can understand it in a normal setting but we needed to spend as much time with the ball in hand as possible to preserve some energy. Thats game management. I feel like Chad didnt adapt to the situation and played just as he did last week with a full bench

Can't take much out of the game last night. We did well in the first half.

I thought Teig Wilton had good moments. This game will be good for his development.

I also think it will be good for Moylan to get in the trenches. Next game will see the benefits.

Chad tried but is off his game with the basics and his decisions.

Toby was awesome.

Look forward to next week.

I get that argument but it’s also not great sending a solo tired forward (or someone like Conor Tracey) into an energised fresh pack coming out of your own end. You’re pretty vulnerable.

I do think the Dugan kick was silly, but we could have also done better all-round with that. Who knows where the call came from though.

Let it go bro, some people are just thick headed.

The kicking game and game management was 1/10 last night, everyone with a functioning brain could see that

Going to make what should have been a winnable game next week a lot tougher, especially if boys dont pass HIA

Could be looking at
Tracey
Nene
Hiroti
Dugan
Ronaldo
Moylan
Chad
Woods
Blayke
BHU
Teig
Williams
Rudolf

Trindall
Tolman
Magoulias
Fifita

Paterson, Pele, Jensen only other fit top 30 players
I'd say we might need an exemption to get another second rower into match day squad but not even sure who that could be.

Otherwise if HIA's are fine Williams goes to bench for Trindall/Fifita and either Hiroti or Nene drops out for Tracey to centre.

Edit: Haha, I just had the same thought!

What’s our line up if our HIA’s pull up lame for next week?

1. Moylan
2. Nene
3. Dugan
4. Hiroti
5. Mulitano
6. Tracey
7. Townsend
8. Uele
9. Brailey
10. Woods (against my better judgement)
11. Williams
12. Wilton
13. Rudolf

14. Trindall
15. Magoulias
16. Tolman
17. Fifita

I’d have thought if we were gunna prefer Tracey at 6 and Moylan at FB we could have done it in that game. Tracey been training at 1, Moylan at 6. I don’t think they swap.

Let it go, this bloke seems to take it personal when we criticise CT

nah, I just find it ridiculous when he gets blamed for situations he has zero control over.

But pile on.

Townsend this year, some other average squad player next year.

Scapegoating is for hacks.

Boys calm down, slide rule has just clarified for us that Chad has zero control over his kicking game and game management .. all makes sense now. We will let It go.

Sorry Chad

Zero responsibility? He has the most responsible position in the team! Your halfback is organising and structuring the team and plays. His kicking game sucked and he was a turnstile in defence last night, his choices in attack were atrocious and he did not adapt to the game. I am not questioning his effort, but his skill does not match it.

Context is the key. The whole team was stuffed. in case you didn’t realise it was quite an unusual game.

ive said that he had some bad kicks.

you piled on before he’d even really done much wrong.

same every week. It’s quite pathetic really.

No one says he is the best player going around. We know he has his limits. That’s life. That’s team sport.

I don’t know what the point of picking out one player and going on and on and on about it. He’s not even our marquee player. He’s just some bloke in our team.

He’s the Bloke to dump on this year. Next year it will be someone else. We’ve had a few of them over the years.

This goes past the point where people just comment on things he does wrong. They look for things to attribute to him that aren’t even wrong, or have nothing to do with him.

There’s no point me engaging in any of this though. Stay in your rage bubble. You are both pathetic.

Mate there's no rage here, we called what we saw and it looks like a lot of people have noticed it too. I told you what I saw in the first half and you took it personally and had a go at me.

I've been critical of Moylan too for his lack of skill, whom I am happy to see leave.
