Well, that wasn't fun (again) the 80 min of footy really ruins a nice day.. Thought we created way more oppurtunitied than I expected, the backline plays now have gone back to looking slow and clunky. Pressure really on flanno to find our mojo, more disappointed in bird than anyone has totally lost his poise and composer, val must be sitting outside him thinking dude since origin 3 I don't recall you giving me one decent pass, last nights cluster Fk in front of the away bay was the icing on the cake, was pure panic go yourself dont throw it to your mate hard up against the line cause you have ran him out of room.
Soon as you let the storm out to a 10 point lead you have your work cut out to get back in front, I do really hate them with a passion but i knowledge they are the kings of closing out matches and usally the bigger the stage the better they are.
So many shark fans there last night, thought we made plenty of noise, travel back safely 2010 and dj, let's rip Canberra one next week.
Happy Father's Day too, especially those new dads...

I think we can still win the comp from here. We easily matched the storm tonight but lacked the finishing touches.

Disappointing evening but much less disappointing than other journeys that I've made to that ****in cauldron
Agree mate. I'm not as down as most about last night, there was some good signs.

We'll beat Canberra next week regardless of where we play them and then we have a Sydney prelim.

Game was really lost in that 5 minutes around half time. If lewis or bird score that try and ennis' charge down falls to us we have them under the pump. Like others have said, so many opportunities that just didnt stick. If they do and the bounce went our way it could have been a very different game.

I'm pretty happy with the performance and the result tonight. We threw the ball around without much luck. Bird was **** but he was the only one. He will get better next week. The team is getting back to where they were after 6 wins in their streak. I'd rather play the Raiders than the Cows next week anyway. I hope its at Allianz but it doesn't really matter. Still on track for Grand Final appearance.

The only possible reason bird will be better next week is that he couldn't get worse. Absolute passenger out there.

No way it's worth two, but this is the NRL so he'll probably get 10.

I still can't see a shoulder charge as dirty play. Never will. It was late yes, but there is nothing wrong with a shoulder charge.

I ****ing hate this game now.

We are now on the best side of the draw. Canberra next week and a win puts us in a prelim, lose and we play the winner of dogs v penrith.

Minimum is 200 points, so technically 2 weeks ... but 25% discount for early plea, so 150.

BUT there is a loading penalty applied if Ennis has had a prior unrelated charge. That penalty is applied BEFORE the early plea discount.

So..
If Ennis has had a prior "shoulder charge" charge the loading is 100 points (50% if base). If he has had prior charges within 2 years for other things, it is 20% loading per incident. So 40 points per incident.

Then ... we have carry over points ... If he has any.

Basically ... if he has 200 base points and then enough carry over or loading to get to 280 points he will miss 2 games because the early plea will only get him down to 210.

Anyone who knows whether he has either loading it carryover should chip in.

Haha thanks, will just wait till its confirmed. All I've heard is Broncs can't play on Saturday night and Melbourne don't want to play on Friday cause of Afl.

We may have to play in Canberra, but besides that nothing has changed - win and get a week off and a home preliminary final

If Ennis is out next week that's a massive problem. Canberra tore us a new one when he was missing a few weeks ago.
Paulo out isn't a big issue, Capewell slots win nicely for him. Any news on Taga? If we can get him playing and firing for
The semi that would be a big help, particulalry if the NRL decide to be cnuts and suspend Fifs.
