THE MINOR PREMIERSHIP Earlier in the year I thought we were a sure thing. The last month has been a bit shakey but to still have our minor premiership hopes in our own hands is an awesome achievement and a job bloody well done to the boys!

Two things I'm looking forward to; Val breaking the try scoring record and us picking up where we left off last night and claiming this Minor!

With a win you would surely have Shane as coach of the year, even with a loss he still looks pretty good.

I posted in another thread, away supporters bay is bay 1 at aami, earlier today that bay was nearly 90% sold, so get in qik folks no Afl next week so should get a solid crowd.

Channel 9 passed up on the game, but I reckon both the NRL and Fox Sports will make a massive deal about it.

A cant ever remember a shoot out for the Minor Premiership in the final round.

Hopefully they'll have the J J Gilitan Shield siting on the sideline on display as a reminder at what is at stake.

I reckon we win comfortably, maybe not 13+, but by 10 points.

How good is it that the minor premiership comes down to one particular game in the final round featuring the two teams fighting for it? I didn't care about it a few weeks ago but then I thought.....it's a trophy, it's a title, we should take them where we can get them, it isn't like we're flush with silverware!

Melbourne will bounce back hard from a loss like they always do and playing down there pits the scales firmly in their favour, there's very little chance we'll be good enough to beat the best on their turf, but there's always a chance, even if it's a small one.

Pumped for this game! Storm will probably win but I'm excited to see how we play. Let's take it to them and show that we deserve to finish the year on top. Then three more wins and we are championships. Business end of the year.. can't wait.

I hope the Fekster, Beale/Ricky, Jimmy & Wade are going to watch a tonne of video this week on the storm, Cronk is going to be sending a tonne of traffic their way this Saturday night, I'm hoping Procter is still out for them.

We need to out enthuse the Storm like the Broncs did on Friday night. This is what the team has done most of the year and I tentatively think we can do it. The blood is going to be pumping for this one.
