I've watched a lot of footy this year, and that performance from the Titans is one of the best of the season. Their energy and enthusiasm would have beaten almost any side in the comp. And Hurrell is back ro his absolute best... he's virtually unstoppable.

I do think this is the wake up call we needed. We were shown the commitment it'll take to win the comp. And still came away with a draw (and within ab inch of the win).
I'm happy with that. And looking forward to seeing the same from the Sharks, and more. We're capable of it.

Prior stopped him is his tracks last night. Unbelievable tackle.

Re the wake up call we needed, that should have been the case after the game against Easts.

Boogs also made a few crucial tackles on the kick restarts. Don't know who it was running at him but he was a beast and Jayson brought him down Speechley style every time.

Yes Boogs does not get many raps but he really puts in particularly in defence , also does a lot of the good things that go unnoticed... he had a great game.

Titans totally did what we've been doing to teams all year-out enthused and got under the skin of our players.

Worrying signs for the end of the season but great that we can still pull a point out where one wasn't deserved

I really hope with the last 8 weeks or so of footy we are taking on board area's where we need to improve, the positive is we have 5 weeks to do it, we got ambushed last night & it appeared that we weren't able to counter it even though we would have known it was on the cards.

Watching last nights game really showed that mentally we are still a fair way off the Storm & Cowboys with our composure, fingers crossed we'll be ready in 5 weeks time.

Need to remember that the cows were only grinding out close wins all year last year and the storm only narrowly beat Newcastle a few weeks back. We are still the team to beat. That doesn't take away from improvements that can be made though.

I was only able to listen to the game last night. It is amazing how hard it is to get a sense of what really happened with so many different views on the game.

On the subject of the size of the pack, I've long been in favour of one extra big guy. However, I think that is all that we need. Being relatively small and mobile has been the backbone of our success. The major problem with this strategy is that being pumped, amped or however you want to put it, is required when taking on the bigger sides. A side can't be jumping out of their skin for every game, and appearing lethargic against the titans isn't overly surprising.

I just watched back the last minute of normal time. Not sure what Fifita was thinking. He has the ball to take the hit up and set up for the field goal on the last. What does he do? He passes it to Maloney in a position that takes us away from the middle of the field. So he gives the ball to a guy who could take the field goal attempt on the last tackle and is standing in a worse position than himself. We do some dumb **** sometimes. Every player needs to be more aware of the situation.

There was some terrible game management. With a few minutes to go we had a 7 tackle set. On play 1 or 2 both gal and ennis forced offloads and we ended up turning it over. All we needed to do was hit it up and take the shot.

54 tackles from ryan james and someone called him a lazy defender
Yep. That was me. Go back and watch it. I guarantee that at least 35 of them are Andrew Gee efforts as 3rd man in. He's the comp's biggest flopper. Stats can't tell you everything.

That's not lazy, that's amazing defensive involvement flopping for 35 tackles
