Plenty of reports during the week about him injuring the AC Joint in his shoulder. Out for 2-3 weeks.

been watching other news at the moment. a bit preoccupied

Didn't stop Spud saying Chad would be looking to get over over on his old club... Another one on the **** list

I heard that Spud said that when I had NRL tonight on in the background.

No mate he’s injured.

Did his AC Joint last week and is out for 2-3 weeks.

Has been mentioned in here quite a bit and in the press.

totally missed it. even went through here earlier, must have missed it completely. like looking in the fridge for the thing you want and can never find it!
nothing

Why does chambers have to go into self isolation when Victoria have had no cases on covid
“ A raft of coronavirus restrictions have been eased in Victoria as the state records zero new local cases for the ninth day in a row.
More than 25,500 tests were conducted yesterday and just one infection was found in an overseas traveller in hotel quarantine”

He Should be allowed to play if he tests negative????

Will he miss three games then?
You can’t really not let him go but that’s pretty bad

NRL needs to be overly cautious to protect the competition.
Plus we are not the Roosters, Broncos or Storm!

The NRL bubble only allows em to go to training then home or go get food. Not saying i agree with it but it is what it is.
Will had every right to go to see his child be born but it came at a cost. Im glad we didnt try to pull a swifty though

Late mail: Will Chambers has been ruled out. He travelled to Victoria last week for the birth of his child and now must isolate for 14 days because he went outside of the bubble. Connor Tracey moves to the centres and Brayden Trindall comes into the halves, with Marwene Hiroti joining the bench.

I don’t get playing Hiroti from the bench when you are replacing a center.
If you are going down the avenue of playing him, then I’d be throwing him straight in at centre (which is his preferred position).
That only means one change and you don’t need to disrupt the rest of the line up by creating a 3 player shuffle.

Id have put Hiroti into centre last week, trindal the halves once the biscuit got injured (again) and Tracey to the bench for impact. Why we put a centre on the bench that we then didnt even put on i have no idea

More utility value than a forward you aren’t going to give a run to either I guess

That’s a waste of a fresh player thou!
We could have used a bit of freshness and an injection of energy during last weeks loss at times.
I’m concerned by the interchange decisions if that is the case Bort!

Hannay seems very conservative with interchange
That or he has very little confidence in Fifita/Hiroti/Mags et al and would rather play with 16 each week than put them on the field

Yeah its poor coaching.

They need to have 3x game plans for subs

1 for if everyone 1-17 are fit
1 for a shuffle like last sunday
1 for a mid-game loss of player

Its like he had his plan for Trindall to go on at some point but since he ended up starting he just scrapped that idea and gave his forwards extra minutes.

GAME DAY! fire Up. Are we gonna see the Performance that turns the Season, or a Sharkies insipid heartbreaker, with all to play for. A rejuvenated Raiders next week, must win game today. Not confident.

Love the enthusiasm.

We were supposed to hand it to Broncos when they have a shocking season thus far and we just couldn't complete.:(:(:(

Need a BIG performance. Need our heads switched on in the game. Need to be relentless and more hungry to WIN.

Completions, field position, kick chase, set repeats, no arm grabbing defence, no dropping off when you THINK that tackle is complete, handling, f*k off stupid stupid errors & penalties, no unnecessary passes that don't need to be thrown, don't drop the ball on Kick off- all these 1%'s
and Aaron woods complaining at each ruck crying for a penalty that will never come, give up boys on that - play the game in front of you. Keep calm and carry on LIKE what those stupid Mugs say!!!

I hope our Sharks that run out today are the team that WANTS to win and gives their all.

Unfortunately it’ll be a disappointing afternoon with an only 50% effort from SJ and a back-pedalling defence.

What’s more is we won’t be able to rely on a mistake riddled game from our former premiership winning halfback.

Warriors 30-16.

Yup I have the exact thoughts, can't see SJ doing much. He's checking out.
