Doesn't it say something about the coaching staff's confidence if Tracey gets the 6 over Trindall? And we're basically happy to say now that it's Fitz making these calls, right? So you'd have past, current and future coaches all looking at Tracey over Trindall. I get the potential thing, but that's a lot of people seeing more potential in Tracey.

Or perhaps more importantly seeing more current ability in Tracey.
Regardless of what the just play Trindall and he might get good opinion suggests the NRL is not the practice league, we are in hunt for finals still, play the best player on the day.
They may all see loads more potential in Trindall, all we really know is that they seemingly think Tracey can do a better job right now.
He also got re-signed before Trindall right?

Agree mate. It's not a trial for next year (yet). Need to pick the team each week who the coaching staff feel offers the best chance to win.

Potential to perform now and in the future would be fair to say.
I think the practice league thing is a good way to put it. Looks like we're picking teams based on how well players perform in training and lower grades, not on their contracts or future potential. That competition seems to be working. For Kennedy at least. Maybe even Williams and Woods (who needs to prove he's worthy of a contract somewhere)

You don't get played because you're on a big contract and have done good stuff in the past (Fifi, Chad) and you don't get played because you might be in the side next year or a handful of people on the internet reckon you play exciting eyes up football because sometimes you don't read the situation fast enough so you have to run, or sometimes you pass the ball to the man outside you who is already running a good line.

Trindall hasn't shown anything nearly good enough yet (publicly) that he deserves a special ball cupping by the coach and to be given opportunities other people are apparently beating him out for.

The jersey for this weekend was there for the taking, if Trindall hasn't done enough to earn it then that is on him. Tracey seemingly has so he gets a good chance to show if he can handle it or not, if he ****s it up maybe Trindall can keep working hard and get the next one.

Could you imagine Tracey on your back about getting that role? He'd be like that little nippy dog from the cartoons... relentless!

Have to give Woods points for that shout

I reckon the average opinion of Woods would be twice as high if he never had that awful haircut and looked angrier while running, even if his onfield output was identical.

Without doubt. Could also have used a DUI or assault allegation to bump up his value

He had decent long hair for a bit, think around time he first stated playing origin. Might be that 5/10 photo but isn't the best pic of it in action. Even that 3/10 do wasn't fine.
The 1/10 doesn't even deserve 1 that was horrific

The 3/10 is a bit Keanu Reeves, deserved more.

Can't give the 7/10 that score with the **** beard combo.

The 5/10 is the closest he's gotten to true Woods I think.
