Critical game after last week's loss. Saints and Knights get the bye and Warrios two points behind us.

Warriors will be down on troops which worries me cos we don’t play to our potential when we are clear favourites.
Hoping I’m wrong.
The result will have huge ramifications either way for us IMHO.
A win puts us in a good position from the teams around us to reach finals.
A loss buries us deep in the pack looking for that last spot in the 8.

One saving grace is I’d be predicting a Dragons slide from here.

Surely we start with Trindall?

It's interesting if that's the way they run out. We've had success with Trindall in that ball-playing lock role. And I don't think you can take Tracey out of the starting side, though we're probably defensively stronger with Chambers at centre. So it makes some sense. Could be Trindall is still seen to be serving his apprenticeship and Tracey is seen more as a first grader looking for a position. It adds up, but since we don't really know anything we could make sense of it if Trindall got a shot at that number 6 spot too

Surely we start with Trindall?

Yeah that’s baffling.. don’t understand, is it just a way to keep Tracey in the side ?

Silly if so. Trindall has shown how creative he is, needs to be starting while Moylan is out.

Don’t get it!
Trindall had a good game all things considered and I thought he was more dangerous then SJ most of the time.
This move is disappointing

Love that Metcalf is named in the 21 jersey.

Firstly I think I probably would start Trindall over Tracey in this circumstance, but...

Tracey was ahead of Trindall late last year (some were suggesting Trindall should/would leave because of how unjust that was and how unreasonable it was for him to have to wait for a chance he still seemingly hasn't earned according to now two coaches)
Tracey has been ahead of Trindall all this year (admittedly in different positions, but clearly is seen as ready to start and has been good for us often, Trindall has had bench opportunities but he hasn't really beaten out many for them or blown us away when on field)

Not really that shocking Tracey continues to be ahead of Trindall now, is it?

Maybe I'd have a different perspective if I watched them train day in day out but to reiterate, I think Trindall is the more complete half of the two and would have started him. And following on from that I think a late switch-a-roo is potentially a good shout.
But I don't think Tracey named to start is that crazy a concept either.

Looks like I’m not the only one who has doubts about Trindall.

Coach agrees with me too.

I’m the same but am hoping he has the same offseason as WK did cause I was happy to trade him last year and has proved to be a keeper.

Trindall lays on two tries to save us from embarrassment and loses his spot. Vintage Sharks
