It was more about the Sharks forwards dominating the game. Good halves should be expected to execute well on the front foot.
Last season's Warriors game was a very good example of what you are talking about (halves each play first/second receiver), and this year's Cowboys game is a good example of the halves creating chances by being on the front foot. Both very good games where the forwards dominated to provide the opportunities to the halves (both were different combos to yesterday). Titans game last year (magic round) also had a bit of this, and even the Manly game with Moylan at fullback had some good moments with Moylan playing first receiver for SJ.
Yep. This and the fact our error rate was low. Amazing how that all makes a difference!
