Absolutely massive game for our under fire forward pack. Fifita has the potential to win this game on his own for the Titans. Our forwards need to finally show some balls and contain him and Tino. 1-5 I think we can definitely compete with them. Brimson is an absolute weapon but I think we match them well in the rest of the outside backs.

Us:

1. Will Kennedy
2. Connor Tracey
3. Will Chambers
4. Jesse Ramien
5. Ronaldo Mulitalo
6. Matt Moylan
7. Shaun Johnson
8. Aiden Tolman
9. Blayke Brailey
10. Aaron Woods
11. Briton Nikora
12. Wade Graham (c)
13. Toby Rudolf

14. Braydon Trindall
15. Siosifa Talakai
16. Jack Williams
17. Andrew Fifita

18. Chad Townsend
19. Billy Magoulis
20. Franklin Pele
21. Jenson Taumoepeau

Them:

1. AJ Brimson
2. Anthony Don
3. Brian Kelly
4. Patrick Herbert
5. Phillip Sami
6. Tanah Boyd
7. Jamal Fogarty
8. Jarrod Wallace
9. Mitch Rein
10. Moeaki Fotuaika
11. Kevin Proctor (c)
12. David Fifita
13. Tino Faasuamaleaui

14. Erin Clark
15. Beau Fermor
16. Jaimin Jolliffe
17. Sam McIntyre

18. Esan Marsters
19. Jai Whitebread
20. Jayden Campbell
21. Ashley Taylor

Some massive ins for us. Ramien, Mulitalo, Talakai and Johnson all back. But the big news is, that finally, at long last, Chad Townsend has been given the boot. The biggest call in Hannay’s career but I think it’s an absolute belter of a call. Good on him for having the balls to do it.

Any idea how to get tickets. The website says sold out? Coffs is just a 4 hour drive down the road for me.

Sold out is a good result, not good for you but glad they're getting a good crowd there.

Maybe ring the club ? Or ask on one of the Facebook pages ?

I like our bench this week. Close to the best we've had all year

Agree, think it’s our best by far. Hopefully a proper middle rotation this week with Talakai, Williams and Fifita all able to play in the middle, then use Trindall as that roaming 13 in parts.

One of our best played games last year was when we had a big bopper bench just kept fresh and rotating each other, we killed them up the middle (can’t remember who it was against but was early in the year I think). Even though Tolman did nothing wrong, we don’t need to see him play 73 mins and one of our bench zero mins.

was it against GC? I do recall we had ok game against them and bench had impact
fifs came on and scored within minutes
royce hunt also scored late in second half off brailey short pass near the line- his first try??

That was probably it, I do remember Hunt being one and the bench just coming on and us only getting better

The Titans are a funny team, they could beat us by 30 or be ****house and lose by 30.

I can live with golden point

That'd be both things. And yep, I could live with that too.

SJ... let's see what kind of shape he's in. That'll probably be the difference.
Ironic... the week our halves finally have some support in the forwards and Chad gets the arse!

Just noticed Noodles is back. Thought he had 3-4 more weeks.

Also 100% Fitz has picked this side this week.

I’d say Chad moving over for SJ would be more about the possible/ potential make up of our team for next year.
Id still like to see how Trindall handles the 7 but this pairing will be interesting to watch.
Hopefully SJ doesn’t screw his hammies with all the kicking duties and maybe Trindall can take over when he is on?

Norman showed the benefits of a long kicking game against us early on last week.
We had great field position for the early sets and it took some very long kicks from Norman to turn that around before the dragons could get any decent field position. The kick chase must also be on point to thou otherwise, the kick means jack ****.

What do you reckon the odds would be on a multi of:

- Johnson and Moylan finish the game healthy
- Mulitalo, Fifita and Talakai all avoid being out on report
- No tries scored through the Sharks right edge
