It was more about the Sharks forwards dominating the game. Good halves should be expected to execute well on the front foot.

Last season's Warriors game was a very good example of what you are talking about (halves each play first/second receiver), and this year's Cowboys game is a good example of the halves creating chances by being on the front foot. Both very good games where the forwards dominated to provide the opportunities to the halves (both were different combos to yesterday). Titans game last year (magic round) also had a bit of this, and even the Manly game with Moylan at fullback had some good moments with Moylan playing first receiver for SJ.

Yep. This and the fact our error rate was low. Amazing how that all makes a difference!

I also thought the Titans were pretty poor. It's almost like they thought after that first try it was going to be an easy afternoon.
I don't think we'd get that same latitude from the Storm or the Panthers.

They sure were. It'll be interesting to see how we hold up with a bit of pressure applied.
I liked the look of the way our team was made up though. Trindall seems to hold his own in his role and our subs are making a real impact again.
It's also amazing what having a close to full strength squad can make!

It was more about the Sharks forwards dominating the game. Good halves (and hookers) should be expected to execute well on the front foot. Williams try was a great example of that. It wasn't a special play by anyone in particular, but the Titans were back-pedalling and outnumbered. Sharks took advantage.

Very True , a LOT easier for halves when forwards making inroads .
Still excited with hooker , halves and fullback linking together , all capable of long crisp passes and the ability to step through holes .
I feel it can only get better , imagine 6 weeks in a row together in those roles

If we're forced to play a certain number of games at Kogarah next year I'd prefer we take them on the road, similar to yesterday.

Maybe not all, but quite a few.

Woods had a great game. I guess that judges who don't know the team very well would notice players that they recognise more than the others.
