I’m glad his not in that blues **** show. Did Fitler have any plan for him. You’d think in game one with all that good ball struggling to crack them thats when you bring him on. 10/15 before halftime to do something.

But what’s the point of having him in the “pathways” in camps 18th man, groom him for his time to then drop him.

NSW Coach Freddy is like a 6 year old in the rugby league lolly isle and no-one around him will tell him that the Nicho's are a sometimes food.

“My mail was that after the Origin in Adelaide he was a bit fragile after that game,” Gould said on Nine’s 100% Footy before Fittler’s side was named.

“He was upset that he was thrown in there late, missed a tackle that maybe cost them the game, he kind of came back lacking a little bit in confidence.

“So it wasn’t just last week’s performance [against Melbourne], it was probably the one the week before too [against Brisbane]) and how he responded to that ... Nicho is a long way from running a team by himself at this level at the moment.

“He hasn’t taken the Sharks [deep] into the finals. He needs a lot more big-game football before I think he’s ready to wear the seven in an Origin jersey”

Loathe the simplistic armchair view of our finals campaign last year.

He steered the team in the first round where we scored 30 points and still lost.

The other 16 players actually defend and we “go deep in the finals”

Wow. Gus has really thrown Nicho under the bus. You wouldn't see QLD speaking about their players like that.

Whilst it is sht, it is necessary

This is what happens when you’re coasting on the how good is this train and skipping over the weaknesses

How it plays out over the next few weeks will say a lot

People talk about it like we had a full fit squad and got blown out first week of finals
A little understrength (especially Will) and a 2 point 92nd minute field goal loss to another comp heavyweight - disappointing but not some Nicho caused massacre, or a game where we failed to turn substantial possession into points

Really just hope he can bounce back and find his groove again. That'll shut all these muppets in the media up.

Yes, yes and yes. Fittler is capital F fraud.
