I was told on the weekend Sharks have a kid who is 17 that has been signed from Southport rugby, originally from the country forget where from.

At 17 he is already the quickest by a country mile in the club.

I am told Nathan Stapelton, stood up Bryson Goodwin a few times at training and made him look like a pedestrian. I was also told when Ricky saw him at training he turned to his staff and said "I hope this kid can tackle because he will be playing first grade this year", he is a fullback/centre.

I have also been told Karl Filiga looks ordinary, slow and not much chop, BUT he has not done anything for months due to his injuries.

Nah he was at Toowoomba wen i was wit him nd then he got expelled nd went 2 tss at da gold coast.

He is only 18, I am sure being under Ricky he will be out quicker then his feet can touch the ground if does do that.

This kid is going to be a star, I am telling you. He played about 60 mins in NYC, then came on after Kearney went off injured, and played another 40 mins or so, neither game did he miss a beat. He looked strong, confident and scored a great try in NYC.

His only blemish was in NRL where on a kick return he tryed to run around ben Rogers and stuttered then went again but got tackled out. If he would of put the foot down to begin with he would of beaten him.

I can see this kid playing grade fairly early in the year, given his opening games form.

I think if he keeps going the way he is he will be soemthing special. In NYC, he was kicking in general play, going to first receiver, bumping off the first tackler and also kicking goals as well as defending solidly, he has it all.
