Unless the pen is worth 800k!

I'm sure a few old Melbourne players have some expensive pens in their drawers!
Must be what JAC was referring to when Nicho said he was the only million dollar winger and he joked ā€˜and the rest’

Had a great game. The commentators made a deal out of a lazy attempt to drag in a stray ball but it's probably something he does 20 times a day at training.
I don't think it was that lazy.
He did a similar move close to our line later in the game that worked and probably changed the course of the game.
It was lazy but he was superb otherwise.

Was like he forgot he was facing the wrong way when he tried to gather it in, looked very nonchalant

Yep, a moment of lost concentration.

It's an example of why people shouldn't be allowed to think about Jayne Mansfield's boobs whilst operating heavy machinery.

Credit where credit is due.
Ive been a massive Moylan detractor this year, but he really stood up tonight when yhe team needed him and helped control our attack
Yeh agree, he’s going well most weeks & right now, not injured, I just hope the coaching staff have some perspective with retaining him, both $ wise & the length of the contract, we are literally 10 games into a season, his previous 4 seasons with us he would have played around 60% of the games.

What's good in all this is that Fitz obviously saw something in Moylan that's been largely missing in the last few years.

Many of us on this forum had our doubts re Fitz sticking with Moylan but so far it has worked a treat.

Second viewing - I watched Moylan effort & clinical execution (for the most part) & I watched Johnson lack of effort on 1%ā€˜s & poor execution.

SJ, dear oh dear. How can a player with that much class & experience not take advantage of 13 on 12 for 64 minutes & 13 on 11 for 10 minutes? Bloody shameful.

I noticed Moylan made several important tackles on Walsh - good to see.

I agree with Gal the Goat, I don’t think there would be a better value 5/8 out there than Moylan. I stand by my 400k PA for 2 years; but I don’t think it will quite get it done as ironically, he seems to be playing with too much consistency & free of niggling injuries.

Foran going to GC closes one option for him. I cannot believe GC dished out 750k for Foran per season. Foran seems to got over his mental health issues which is great, and he seems to be playing a controlling role at Manly, but 750k per season?

Personally, I would have 2021 & 2021 version of Moylan ahead of 2021 & 2022 version of Foran - I am clearly missing something.

Did they really pay 750k per season? Wow, I thought it was for two.

I googled ā€œForan GC how muchā€ - first story said 750k per season. I dove deeper, fox sport quoted 400k per season which is surely more like it.
