2 and 3 missed tackles better is much much much better?
One much for every tackle seems excessive
I think he is referring to much much much better in general……(for example kicking and running, not just defensively?)

But that’s not the context of the conversation, so seems kind of ignorant to just ignore the context like that doesn’t it?
So I don’t think that would be it

Moses and Hunt are much much much better then Moylan mate
BOTH likely to stuff up in a BIG game and/or drop a kick off in a golden point crunch moment .
Happy to stick with a player trying his guts out this year , on F all $$$ .
What would you pay your 2 choices for a 2 year deal as a replacement ?

1 year deals only for Moyza given the last few years ..

IF Redcliffe offer 2 years on good money he should take it ..

Moylans defense is better than stats suggest, he puts alot of effort into his D and sometimes goes out of his way to help or initiate a tackle along with defending as standard in a busy corridor in the halves

Tackles he misses or deemed ineffective don't seem to result in trys against us very often, bit different with Hynes for instance who has missed a few this year that resulted in trys against us

even 1 on 1 Moylan sometimes makes good strong important tackles close to our line. the stats week to week always seem to paint his defense in a worse light than it actually is watching the game.

Pay him to stay on say 400K per year for two seasons.
OR
Pay perhaps pay 800K plus per year for Hunt or Moses ?

“Meanwhile in other threads people talking about signing Walker, Moses, Hunt, and how Staggs dominated Talakai and how good Manu is etc”

You saying the above is in what context ? You mentioned those names because they are in the missed tackles list ? That’s why my reply was but Moses and Hunt are much much better players then Moylan.. didn’t think it was that hard to understand

We have lots of money sunk into players we pretty much know we will not get anywhere near the value of their $ from them.. alot of people are saying we can’t spend too much $ on our spine but keep in mind especially compared to the top teams our spine right now is very cheap.

Other then maybe centre if Sifa for whatever reason goes back to the forwards we are pretty sweet on every other position right now

Moylan - 2 years Deal. What a tough one.

All things considered circa 450k yr1, 400k yr 2? Would not want to pay anymore, but don’t think that gets it done. Bloody interesting how it will turn out.

Dropping the graphic to trash Moylan (or what’s the motivation if not that?)

As I said mate, just for discussion

I’m not interested in hating on players

Ill be disappointed if he gets 2 years regardless of the coin.

Yep has been massively injury prone, now contract time links 7 games together and is no doubt after a long term contract as knows he could easily get a serious injury at any time
