This is me saying Sifa in the centres is one of the best players on our team. Sifa on the bench playing 15 mins through the middle? Not so much.
I’d drop Dale before I’d drop Sifa

If any centre or forward goes down Sifa is worth more then gold

Dale is on his way out and I wouldn’t want him in the way of Tuks, Sifa, Hunt etc

Fitz talking up a player who selflessly moved from an 80 min role to a 15 min role? Well I never...

Direct from the horses mouth.

Sifa has said that it’s harder playing in the middle and that when playing centre he can “rest” so allows him to play 80, but there is nowhere to hide in the middle, so his minutes will reduce.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Sifa out on the edge at centre, but Fitz is also trying to manage his team and feels he needs to give Iro his chance to save any risk of loosing him (I guess).

Sifa is happy to play in the middle and will likely get more minutes over time.

Almost agree.

Dale can be “depth” now but still have a leadership role at training and around the club.
Hunt is the odd man out for me.
I like him, but think Tuku could do his role and has more upside

Every week he plays he’s adding more to his next salary. If he is in our future plans then we need to re sign him now before we get stuck in a bidding war with other teams. It’s evident he is an nrl standard centre. Deserves to be playing week in week out.

he had a good game. I was impressed.he has the potential and has done his time in lowers. my concern is it’s only his third game and hasn’t been up against other elite centres.

I'm a 'best at it gets the job' kinda guy so as well as Iro has gone he's not a better centre than Sifa so when Sifa isn't required as forward coverage anymore he gets picked. 80min centre Sifa way more valuable than 15min bench Sifa - its a waste.

I don’t disagree, but I’m thinking Sifa gets more minutes once he builds up “mid field fitness” (in that he gets use to playing through the middle).

Fitz wants them both in the team (refer to his post match conference) so it may be that he will run horses for courses and will alternate depending on who we play and requirements needed

Yep Sifa for 15 is a joke. Rate Iro and happy they are making a spot for him 100 percent, but Sifa needs to be given more minutes in the rotation. Especially given Williams was injured???

Sifa in the middle for longer minutes is still a waste. At centre he's an 80min threat on an edge against usually smaller men & less of them. Even 30mins in the middle at full tilt I don't think we're making the most of him.

We’re definitely not but need to try and find a happy balance.

I’m still putting Sifa to centre when we get all our forwards back but give our luck it’s probably not going to be very often

I think not having Sifa at centre is a reason our attack looked a bit of a miss last night. He just adds so much and our first couple of wins a lot of it came off around him.

He sucks in so many defenders because of his size that we seem to have more options when attacking his side. Not a shot at Iro he’s done his job very well, just Talakais been doing it all long before him

If I can resign Iro for 3-4 years on 3-350k, or even less, I'm doing that and potentially letting one of our centres look elsewhere.

Purely from a cap management perspective. 2-300k spare allowed us to get AFB. I'd be trying to do that again to upgrade another position.

Lets not **** around - Sifa is a top 5 centre in the league on a quiet night.

Iro isn't in top 20 centres. And Sifa not in top 20 middles.

1 top player or 2 middle of the road blokes? I hate waste & you can argue Iro is wasted if he's not in FG but Sifa is also a bit wasted infield. Good headaches to have though.

Would we save 2-300k going Sifa or Jesse to a 350k Iro? I dunno what they're on

Commentators hold vigil waiting to bust a nut over a fullback making 300m. A lotta those metres are returning the ball in free space. Sifa regularly makes 200m playing 1 small corridor in normal 10m apart footy. His impact as a forward isn't lost because our back 5 work hard outta trouble. His silky hands can't be forgotten either.

Like I'd have RTS at FB for Warriors - nothing against the other bloke this ****s just better.
