Can't wait to see this week's team list. If Hunt's back and Iro's still at centre you'd assume the position's his.

I think Dale was the most likely to push Talakai back to centres but with the great man retiring I don’t see Hunt being that person.

I think Hunt and Tooks bide their time in NSW cup and try and force some changes with strong form.

I think Fitz loves the Talakai versatility he offers

Yeah 100% the way I'd go. Hunt needs a good run of form in the Jets or injuries to those ahead of him to force his way back.

Tbh I've gone right off him as things currently stand.

Fact is Hunt was always a depth forward - he did admirably to step up and make a generally decent job of starting but that never should have been his role. Credit to him for taking it on pretty well.
With numbers back and Tommy stepping up Hunt reverts back to being a depth options, unfortunately for him a bad game and then injury have moved him down that list.

If he is playing well and we need him back into the NRL side so be it.
We haven't seen him step up to be an NRL starting calibre forward, or top benchie, yet and with AFB coming he likely doesn't get that chance with us.
