Lets not **** around - Sifa is a top 5 centre in the league on a quiet night.

Iro isn't in top 20 centres. And Sifa not in top 20 middles.

1 top player or 2 middle of the road blokes? I hate waste & you can argue Iro is wasted if he's not in FG but Sifa is also a bit wasted infield. Good headaches to have though.
Rookie that’s played 3 games is not in the top 20 centres

Centre who doesn’t play in the forwards is not in the top 20 forwards

Got it 😂

Just re-watched the Rabbitoh game and even more impressed by Kayal. He's polished and appeared to make very few errors. I'm of the view that there's a good chance he can consolidate the centre position and we roll with Sifa coming off the bench. Let's see how this goes but this just may be a win - win.

Not according to RLP https://www.rugbyleagueproject.org/players/kyal-iro/positions.html
Which does try and account for players starting in position other than named but is probably even less accurate for that at Cup level, and also doesn't account for mid game switches.

One of the two times he has played wing listed is NRL 2 years ago.
Likely has played wing more than that. Cup team lists don’t account for re-shuffles. They just list the bloke who came in. E.g. that game he was listed at second row he played centre.

Also played wing in the World Cup in at least one game though he was listed at fullback.

While he isn't quite a game breaker (not yet and I don't expect that as a rookie) I have been impressed and pleasantly surprised with how solid and reliable he has been. Handling and defense not much to complain about and has made some tough carries.

Seems to have a good calm head on his shoulders (24 yrs old so not really a kid) and I get the feeling he is just easing himself in and biding his time but at some point in the future is going to have some break out moments and from there he will be on his way.

I wonder whether Roosters will come sniffing for Iro now Manu has confirmed his exit

Wonder if Roosters will consider putting Dom Young into the centres in the future, he's a big lad but I spose that's part of the advantage of having him on the wing under the high ball
