The Wade comparison is understandable; age, height, debuting for a **** team named after a Cat

I see more Glenn Stewart than Wadeo in him as a forward though.

In fairness however, I've clearly lost my mind and should just be ignored

Galvin is 18 !
Lunacy to move him into the forwards yet .
A few years @6 surely ..
Oh yeah you can't do it now, he needs a few off seasons for sure.

If Fainu is named this weekend it may set some wheels in motion - means Bud is completely on the outter and if Fainu plays well it creates a contest for the jersey. Could hasten a transition, or force one to seek a release mid next season when clear they are behind.

Be funny if Fainu kills it. All of a sudden they're probably wishing they didn't commit big dosh for Luai. Sezer looks as though he could go around another season.

Yeah at the end of the day between Fainu, Galvin and Luai I'd assume Luai by far the best bet for 7 but agree they could have stalled via Sezer to find a potentially better suited 7.
A lot of unknowns at the time they signed Luai though, his ability as a long term 7 still one of them.

Apparently the Dragons have given permission for Lomax to leave at the end of this season. Won't be surprised if Iro comes knocking on Fitz's door shortly.

Apparently the Dragons have released Lomax effectively immediately. Won't be surprised if Iro comes knocking on Fitz's door shortly.
I guess he'd be willing to play wing rather than cup...?

Centre still remains unavailable there, hence why Lomax is leaving.

Didn't think that much of his game against Raiders early on initially but he actually ended up being pretty solid over the 80 mins. Nice try and the stats end up reading pretty good for him, decent metres and no missed tackles.

If defense has been a concern or problem for him maybe he has improved it in 2024 - I haven't watched any Jets games though

Fitz looks to be backing him to do the job which I don't think he would do if he throught Iro would make our edge defense worse after all the pain we went through to fix it up post Moylan.

Ofcourse picking him in the centres again might just be a place holder pending late week fitness of Rudolf and BHU

Iro will be gone by the end of the season imo. No way he stays as a depth player. He’s good enough to play for another nrl team each week. Eels are keen on him. They want Lomax but if that fails they’ll throw there attention back towards Iro.
Too early to say I reckon mate. He had a very promising game (not the debut, the last one) but you need to see how he stands up to a Koloamatangi steaming through him on our try line or a Val Holmes' power and speed. Too many players look red hot against fair to indifferent opposition.

I honestly don't think Sezer has the legs to go around too many more time. Seems like a smart player and has a handy kicking game... but maybe a tier under even a Hastings.

Old, indifferent Matt Timoko.

Need to keep this bloke, there's something about him. I'd keep playing him at centre with Sifs coming off the bench.
I'm not sure Sifa adds much off the bench... Not sure we can carry him on the bench with everyone back.

Really impressed with his game tonight.Made plenty of Carrie’s and defended really well. For me, all the talk of his defensive liabilities are now out the window. It’s his spot now. I thought Sifa was great off the bench, he’ll get plenty of minutes there.
