I can't remember seeing many more balanced runners than Kade prior to his injury.

Brought back memories of ET
Steve Kneen was balanced enough .
With the bonus of the ability to scare the CRAP out of opponents and take off their heads if required ;)

Looking forward to seeing how he goes next year. With Kennedy and Trindall having locked in the 1 and 6 barring injury for a while it’ll be interesting to see where he gets his chance. Maybe utility? With injuries could he potentially play wing? Centre? We know fullback and 5/8 he can but wondering he he could fill in other spots.

I reckon he could play centre, next season likely a bit part player anyway, maybe first man up for 1,3,4,6
After that we’ll see

We can afford to be patient with him and let him cook with the Jets a bit longer as he’s missed a whole year of development, thats if Trindall’s done enough and in my opinion he’s worth backing next season for the job.

Yeah he's gotta get some 80 minute games under his belt back from injury before anything else. Get him a position to work towards and hone his craft at the Jets for a while

Val still my favourite in terms of balance.
Totally. I’m convinced he would have been a success in the NFL if he had been re signed to a practice squad. He just needed another year. The conveyor belt of college players means teams don’t have to develop players, they just try another rookie.

What if we make the grand final this year with current spine, would you keep Tracey at fullback next year? 😄

I mean, if it felt like Tracey was the key reason we made it, you'd have to consider it. But if he's just in there doing a role and the rest of the team is humming, bringing Kennedy back would still make sense.

Listened to a podcast today where Ben Ikon was saying that he was convinced Reece Walsh's rise to stardom was in no small part because Tristan Sailor was pushing so hard from reggies. Thought there were parallels... Makes you wonder how much Tracey has contributed to Kennedy's rise and how much value he adds to the squad in training - possibly moreso than his first grade cameos.

Coaches like effort and if you have a high effort guy behind you then you know you can't afford to lapse - you know you have to work hard to retain/win your spot and if you ever drop your focus they will come flying up behind you trying to take your spot

Tristan maybe did push Walsh a bit, but Walsh was basically this good last year just the 2022 Warriors weren't as good as the 2023 Broncos - a factor in that also is probably that the only reason the Broncos can even afford Walsh is Warriors blocked him signing with Dolphins and he needed to go to Brisbane.
If Warriors don't try to spite O'Sullivan Walsh probably signs for Dolphins for three to four times as much money.

Help, think I'm being fansplained...
:D

Imagine the Dolphins with Reece... they'd probably have made the eight.
