JOSH CLEELAND - FROM Insight Sports .

http://vimeo.com/channels/insightsportstv/134888701

Josh is one of the most talented and electric Halves in the Competition, He is currently rated the number one Half / Five Eight in the competition and is pushing hard for an NRL position. He is leading all play making stats in QLD cup and only needs an opportunity at NRL level to show what he can do.

With electric footwork and great defense Josh is ready for the next step.

I don't think you can address all areas in one off season though. I think we've done OK.

What i look forward to is the pending retirement of these old guys. There is a bit of cap between gallen lewis ennis etc. could make for some exciting signings over the next 2 years

Agree.

Our biggest concern this year was our halves. We've addressed that in a big way for next year. Yes we need a prop but you can't get everything you want. We've signed some promising young guys as well. If 1 or 2 of them play 100 first grade games it's been a bloody good recruitment drive imo.

We'll still get a few forwards but i doubt it will be anything of high interest.

I guess we have prior fifita fifita taga heighno jsl who can all do a job. Be good to get a matt scott/jwh just hard running type (im not gunna ****in say that h word)

no, not above a pass mark

we still have an old forward pack, and no explosive, game breaking backs

I disagree, with what we needed, the recruitment of two genuine halves is well above a pass alone.

Realistically without releasing someone I can't see us having much money to spend in the forwards this year. Fifita, Graham, Gallen and Lewis are all on good money. With gal and Lewis retiring next year the Money will be there for the type of hard running forward we need.

IMO we are 1-2 depth forwards off near oerfect recruitment for this season given the the room you'd imagine we had to move within the cap.

Love the fact that we're signing guys to put pressure on Townsend. I'm not sold at all on Townsend being our number 7.

I know it's a "Highlights" package but he did show a variety of kicks, I also like seeing the kicker chase hard his own kicks.

I also agree That Chad is an inprovement on Robbo, but will hopefully have his work cut out for him to cement a first grade spot. Espically with blokes like Josh around putting pressure on!

Hope this guy can do just that.

I honestly hope he goes well and challenges for a spot, but I remember Murphy's highlight video was pretty impressive also, so I wont be holding my breath.
