I'd seriously make a play for the 2 tigers props both about 21 & getting good experience. Fafita & Woods we can buy both with Snowys money & offer Ross $80k, then there's money for backs.
 I like it

I was told a while back, as is evident from a very early post of mine, that we are very slow off the mark. Player agents are taking names to the club and I'll use the words of my agent mate, "it's like pulling teeth, they just wont make a decision". I think under Flano, well what I have been told anyway, things are better. I think we all realise, we are not going to attract the names, unless you class Joel Ready a name. So let's just hope they tie up the junior kids coming through, long term and rebuild a local team. Dead set if we start losing these 20's kids, the whole administration will again need an overhaul.
Well said! Most sense made in this whole post!
I said right from the get go with Snowden we should've pushed hard for an answer and copped plenty of stick for it, fast forward titans have snuck under the radar and pinched Douglas a player i thought would never leave.
If we had an answer earlier we could've focused more attention on Douglas i wouldn't be surprised if he became disillusioned at the fact that there was so much focus on snowden and not someone such as himself who has long served this club.
I personally think the writing is on the wall and snowden won't be here next year, yes im disappointed but that doesn't mean i don't appreciate his contribution to the club.
Back to point 1 we need to know wether we need two props or just one thats why we need his answer we need to be proactive rather than reactive.
What im saying is we may have been able to put a better package together to entice him to stay.
If that was the case Snow the club should be more proactive yet you hear nothing of who we are looking at.
In any case i'd be dissapointed to lose Johnny i think he has some potential considering what he went through last year, next year he'll only be better for a full season of footy under his belt.

That's pretty simple it's because we don't have a recruitment officer. Flano does the lot. Other clubs have people talking constantly to player agents. Flano first thing is to win footy games then worry about the other stuff. I would like to see someone employed in this position as a matter of urgency. Surely though the decision makers in the club can see what we all see plain as day. We need to sign some players because we have a *****load off contract ourselves!!!
Well that's blatantly untrue. Its widely known that Darren Mooney, the Football Operations Manager is involved heavily in recruitment in the absence of a CEO, and Joey Grima is on film talking about his job involving recruitment.
But hey, don't worry about facts. Especially when they don't suit your concerns.
Geez, this place has gone crazy these last couple of weeks. And not in a good way.
the un-sourced sign is like herpies...
sometimes you get it, sometimes you miss it
Thats why i put it on there knob cheese....
