Well put Teflon

Maybe we didn't want him to side step and dummy?

I mean to be a good front rower you do need to do that don't you?

Just ask O'Meley, Mason and Webcke!!

Hasta La Vista I say and don't bother coming back

hahahaha that article made me laugh. how good does this guy think he is. he didn't like our style of play because as soon as even a half decent prop came up for us.. he would get drop back to reserve grade. well done mate. we will make a cssc song for him now saying how **** he is when we play the titans in round 2

Who does he think he is? He has actually done us a favor by freeing up some funds for omeley in 08! Well done James and thanks for the memories. Good luck with the tan!

I am speechless, besides the obvious comments you guys have made above, he had a few good games but he never carved them up. Hutch and Stosic were both bench warmers who would fill in positions when other props were hurt or needed a break.

But in saying that good luck to him anyway, another poor attitude from our club gone.

Yes a funny one that, I didn't think that Stosic left the club on bad terms but it really gets up my nose when players pay out on their former clubs (unless it is the Eagles, Drags, Broncs etc :D ). He doesn't really seem to explain his comments, but if that is his attitude then I'm glad he's gone, we only want guys who are willing to give their all for us on and off the field.

I think that when people realise the truth about themselves sometimes they have to do and say things to build their own esteem, as in this case.

i know what you mean, but he is one of those players that constantly talks themselves up yet he isn't that good. i can think of another person like that....i think that stosic is getting the anthony mundine syndrome!

This will probably stir something up, but Mundine is contemplating a return to the NRL in a couple of seasons time, and if we were going to throw 500K at someone I would rather it be at him than at Tuqiri or Shrek. As Great White said he is a true talent and also a great athlete and I'm sure he could add plenty to our club.

I agree he is an awesome athlete, but think he would have to prove he is still able to play before he gets that amount of $$

Yes peachey, I had the feeling I might stir something up by bringing up the Mundine topic...but it makes for a lively discussion! It was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek suggestion, personally I don't think we need to go spending 500K on anybody, be it Mundine, Tuqiri, the Ogre or whoever...

Mundine is a incredibly gifted and talented sportsman, at many sports. It is just a shame his mouth is bigger then those talents.

I guarantee you all the Mundine haters (including myself) would have a lot more time and respect for him and back him a lot more if he was like Kostya, was humble and got on with it without talking himself up.

agreed he has a massive amount of natural sporting ability (probly still wouldn't fill his mouth though), but he won't come back to league anyways.
he'll talk it up (for a change) and end up doing nothing.

besides, it would take him way too long to get his muscle bulk back and he is getting old now.
if he did come back i would put money on him getting injured within three matches.
no need for that at the sharkies.

And Stosic is a total joker!
he was possibly the slowest NRL player in history!!!!
he surely won't be missed

i will miss beau scott more than i will miss james stosic!

i absolutly agree with all of you saying that mundine had a lot of talent, when he left league that talent was transformed into a mouth that doesn't shut up.
