Ditto.

Hate him for what he did for the Wandertards. But part of me can't help but admire his success.

That guy did a phenomenal job with the wanderers. I know you skyblue fans hate 'em but you had to admire their growth and success in their first year in the comp. If we had some of the brains behind that at our joint...Well....

This is a good move, exactly what was needed at the club. Now, enough about Snowman's bj's... Though ido think the same about the move to appoint a professional to handle the club and the development. It's an expensive, big move that will help separate us from the old, amateur, volunteer run club we've had recently.

This isn't a diss on the guys who have sine their best under ridiculous circumstances, without the proper professional credentials or support to succeed in the environment this lax approach had created.

And if you don't think they're already talking to people because they said they weren't, then you've never heard aanyonein rugby league talk about anything ever...

Can any A-League heads out there give us a rundown on this bloke. I hear plenty talking him up, but how long was he in the job? 2 years?

For a bit. And the Central Coast Mariners before that. I don't really know the ins and outs of it though. He seems to have done pretty well everywhere, but it's always difficult to judge these things.

I've been pretty impressed with the way that the Mariners have performed since the inception of the A League, especially given their size and resources compared with the other larger clubs from major cities. How much he has had to do with that, I'm unsure.
