Be sure to tie an onion on your belt too.

One of these belts no doubt.

I am over worrying about this basket case of a club.
Life is more peaceful this way.

Im not too worried.

1. Flanno will be back whether he is the best option is debatable but it is what it is and i think he will get our guys ready better than 2013 or 2014.

2. Signing players will come, it seems player signings basically happen whenever now, not all come before training starts but most players worthy of a deal are already training themselves or with current clubs when signed.

3. Not bothered with the sponsor thing, i have a feeling 2015 we will run out with a sponsor though. On that note, we enter our new era. Post ASADA, post spoon, post bull****. Time for a new jersey. The hoops has done us well and has its place in heritage or special jersey days, but its time to re-create the brand. Plus id have no jersey to buy next year if we have another csfc hoops kit.

4. Robbo is the concern he may be able to direct attack but we really made him redundant with Ennis. ennis can do most of what Robbo does in his own role. Need some halves to put in some good kicks and ball movements.

agree, you have bigger fish to fry, like toilet training

i think he is the best option at the moment as the players call to arms under him

2. Signing players will come, it seems player signings basically happen whenever now, not all come before training starts but most players worthy of a deal are already training themselves or with current clubs when signed.

agreed, i am sure the signings will flow for a couple of clubs, im sure we got vave and arona after pre season started

you have to keep the design of your home jersey for 3 years, this is year 3, so it will be hoops again

i am hoping ennis directing traffic takes pressure off old man rivers

Yeah i know bout the 3 year rule, i just kept thinking of 2012 where we used the hoops a lot with fishermans friend/shark/blank over the v jersey from 2010/2011.

Are you saying ennis is robbos calming influence? The calming influence for the calming influence.

I am worried because my kids are at that age where if we have another year like this one, then they probably will start supporting another club. It's like school. No kid can afford a bad year. If you do have a bad year it just can't be followed up by another bad year. Clubs like Parra could potentially get away with it but not the sharks. People are moving into the Shire from the suburbs surrounding it. They don't bring a great love for the club, they support the club they grew up supporting.

The other thing that worries me are the dribblers on this forum. Someone puts up a decent post or thread and it just gets hijacked and inundated with crap. Now I know that people can say what they want to on here but if you're going to dribble, start a Dribble Thread and do it on that. (Expecting the next few posts will now give me a flogging for saying that - like they normally do!)

i grew up supporting the Sharks, ive never lived in the shire. My whole family on both mother and fathers side were Sutherland based. Mum in Caringbah Dad in Miranda. They moved to the esplanade in the early 80s together when they had DeathMoth then moved north.

No bad year deterred me from being a Sharks supporter. I was a Parra supporter when i was real small, only cos i looked like Sterlo. Had the blonde mullet and a number 7 on my Eels jersey. Converted to the Sharks at about 5 or 6. Basically when school started.

No year in the clubs history has been as bad as 2014, thats fact. Never want to see another like it. Buts its sport, it will happen. Imagine being an 8 year old Eels supporter, probably only follow them for the Hayne Plane. Cos if you are 8, you were 3 when the Eels last played finals footy, and wouldnt have given a **** back then.

Rugby League teams and bad years are like scrub after a bushfire.

It doesn't look nice, but when it blooms it explodes. And every now and then you'll get a video of Koala drinking from a water bottle.

2009 says hi

we didnt get the spoon, have players suspended for drugs(other than reni), have no head coach, no sponsor (although lg pulled the pin), or have snowman banned

2009 is a close second, but no 2014. they are too close together though thats for sure

Well I'm hearing on twitter Steve Noyce has been terminated as CEO, source David Riccio.

Don't know what to think about this.

Who would sack him the board? Over the handling of tc etc?

Does this mean snowman doesnt have to give him a blizzy?
