I think the opposite mate - it turns some exciting games in to dull ones. Watching 10 minutes of one out hit ups and everyone standing 4m offside is not entertaining in the least. Bring back the draw.

The worst thing about golden point isn't the actual golden point. Its the 10 or 5 minutes before FT when teams carry on like golden point

Both teams have played hard enough for80 min. Award a point each and call it a draw. That is how it should be. The ladder still gets sorted by +/- anyway.

you must be thinking of a tied game HB - in a drawn game both teams get 2 points and a week off

It's fair, reasonable and every team can plan their game plans around it.

Because if a team jags a field goal (or whatever) in the first set it's game over, not fair the defending team that lost the toss of a coin doesn't get the right of reply. . Should be 5 each way which is far fairer.

you let a team stroll up the field to field goal position from a kick off then it's your own fault
