Actual home grounds like Shark Park are a million times better than either.

I'd be more than happy to see no games played at ANZ.

Football stadium is a bazillion times better anyway.

Oh, don't get me wrong I agree that the SFS is better. ANZ is only good when it has a big crowd of at least 40k in a regular season game or 60k+ in the finals series. Other than that it just looks dead even if you get around 25k, which is pretty good for a normal season game.

I can see arguments for both grounds, especially if we play an outer Sydney team and are only likely to get 15-20k to play it at Shark Park. But the thing I love about suburban is the hill, you can stand there and absorb the game. It is not good for kids, as it is probably hard for them to see. That is why I'm not a huge fan of ANZ and the SFS cause they feel a little stiff with the whole ground being seated.

It probably wouldn't happen, but a Saturday night double header at ANZ could be close to a sell-out.

Biggest games should be @ ANZ, yet I've got vivid memories of Sharks Storm semi @ SFS. Guys were wearing Sharks jerseys that had not seen the light of day for years. A great trip into the Sharks history. Build-up @ Olympic was nervous & exciting. Presume it was the CSSC guys all in blue Sharks T's and the crowd looked bloody great. Plenty to plahy for on Sunday.

Looks as though Canberra stadium is a fair way from town centre. Does anyone know if there is reliable transport from town to the ground? I'm thinking ahead if we end up playing down there week 1 as I'll be heading down for it and would want to stay in the town centre. More places to head out after the game.

It is a fair way out, it's out in Bruce. My mate lives out there and gets busses into City Centre all the time to go clubbing. I assume they would run busses alot more when there is a game on.

Thanks Deano. Although it would be a fun weekend I'd rather play them in Sydney in a finals game.
