Has the time slots for the games in week one been locked in yet? I want to plan something for that weekend and want to know if Saturday or Sunday would be better. Or will everything be left until the Sunday?
I assume the sharks will play in the 5v8 or the 6v7 game. In previous years we knew the order of the games.

Ring the NRL or check out the AFL, we may run off the same game times/days as them considering we are using their finals method this yr.

You won't know until next Sunday night. There is no set order. The AFL don't have a set order either, although generally they like to play games involving the top 4 teams earlier to give the losers of those games a longer turnaround for the following week. I think this is fair.

When we had this finals format in 90's before Super League it was the 5v8 game Friday night 6v7 and 2v3 on Saturday night and 1v4 on Sunday

It's actually looking pretty likely we will play the Raiders, either in Sydney or canberra. 6v7

I'm confident we'll win one of our remaining games so we'll play in Sydney if that's the case.

I was just thinking, could we get the cows round one of finals? That would mean we play them two weeks in a row.

That sounds possible. I'm pretty sure in 2001 we played the Roosters in the last round and the first week of the finals. I think if we had one in the last round we would of come 4th but we lost.

I remember in 09 the same thing happened with the goons and the eels, but the eels were really smart and rolled over in the last game in the season and got smashed by 37 points, and then came out all guns blazing the following week and beat them in the finals.

Tonights results mean we need one win in the next two games or face a trip to Canberra or North Qld.

Although we are capable of winning in those places, it would clearly be better to stay in Sydney in week one of the finals.
