Ratcliffe a step closer to owning Man U

Looks like it’ll be him barring a late improved bid from Qatar. Not thrilled about this for two reasons. 1. He’s keeping the Glazers around, well two of them anyway. 2. He doesn’t have the money to compete with City, probably Newcastle soon and whoever the Qataris buy instead.

It is what it is.

I’m glad you haven’t gone the Qatari route. Too big of a club to sell out like that

That qatari fella who was talking is worth 1.5 billion and his companies are worth 6.5 billion

After buying united there would be nothing left

That qatar bid are buying nothing at all

Looks like Mason Mount to Man United is getting more likely. Weird signing if this is actually true, I’d rather go after someone with a bit more defensive bite. I mean I wont complain if they get him, providing they go after a more defensive midfielder as well to take some of the pressure off Casemiro.

Look I want Jude, but we need 4 midfielders badly

Mac
Ugarte
Kone
Lavia

Is about 20 mil more than Jude

Then if we can snag Ignacio our team is refreshed and running again

Curtis Jones has probably saved us an extra 40-50 million tbh
Ugarte about to sign for Chelsea

NO Ange, don't do it. There is nothing positive about going to the spuds. The fans will turn on you before Xmas if your not in the top 4, and Levy will want you to beg for every cent for new players. Just wait for a Brentford,Villa, Fulham type role, or just stay at Celtic.

I reckon Palace (assuming Woy retires) would have been perfect for him

I must be in cloud cuckoo land cause for the first time in i can't remember how long that i'm excited for what is next as a spurs fan.
The spurs fan base need to pull their heads outta their arses and realize we aren't close to as attractive an option as they think and that's down to their messiah daniel levy who they think is good for the club , here's a tip he's not lol.
If i see Ange using younger players and change then i'm all on board , but if i see Eric Dier , Davies , Sanchez , Hojbjerg , Sessegnon , LLoris rolled out i'll know nothings basically changed.
I want youth.
I dont expect Europe or anything but i want Football cause after Mourinho , Nuno and Conte i'm so fed up with the torture
My fear is whether my dumb fan base will give it time because the current squad is so trash

The problem is, Levy will promise him the world in regards to transfers, ( familiar story) but in reality it will take a few transfer windows for Ange to remotely get the squad he needs, and by that time the "fans" will be campaigning for yet another manager. Unless they give him a minimum two seasons to build his own team, this will not end well for either party. But i would love to see him make a go of it.

Them also, any of them " mid table" teams would be ideal. Hodgson is probably due to retire again any day now😆. I think he is putting way to much pressure on himself by going to the spuds.

Kim Min-Jae to Man United looks very likely. Just cant be done before July as thats when his release clause kicks in.

palace is a great job for graham potter, but i would prefer lampard go there and relegate them

Didnt know Liverpool had a rivalry with Palace, or is this just a personal thing?

Surely Lampard can’t get another PL job. Worst manager I’ve seen in a long time.

Potter at Palace would be interesting, quite a good fit. Given his history with Brighton though, not sure he takes it on. But beggars can’t be choosers
