good signing for united, but he plays the same spot as martinez so will be interesting to see what happens\

surely ten haag hasnt given up on him already?

its a personal thing, i hate most london clubs

He’ll start transitioning into Varane’s role. Martinez is still first choice for Ten Hag, he had a fantastic first season.

He is left footed, cant play Varanes role

Martinez was ok, had some absolute stinking games and a few good ones

Mate. He’s right footed.

Yes he mostly plays left sided centre back for Napoli but Rrahmani is right footed too. To me that suggests KMJ is the more versatile of the two. He’ll play either side for United but it makes more sense for him to be Varane’s successor on the right alongside Martinez, and switch to the left if Martinez is unavailable or being rested.

The only bad game I can think of that Martinez had was against Liverpool, and to be fair he DEFINITELY wasn’t alone in that debacle. He might of had some middle of the road 6 or 7/10 games here and there but overall he was very good. Exactly what we needed.

Nah I dont count the first two games. The whole team was broken then. 😏

He was great this season, we’ll just have to agree to disagree.

I do agree £35m for MacAlister is very good business.

Surely it must be a gee up for the English media to be linking Tottenham to Maguire 😆. Ange getting off to a great start with the supporters.

As much as I would absolutely love for someone to take Maguire off our hands, I think he’ll stay.
If they bring in the korean lad from Napoli, it pushes Slab even further down the list and might struggle to get cup games, he has gone about as far as ye can at United so he should leave if he wants game time, ( Southgate will still have him in every English squad tho )

Thats obvious and what anyone else would do, but I honestly think he’s at the point where he doesnt even care if he’s playing regularly anymore. He said himself he ‘doesn’t need to prove himself’ and Southgate picks him in England squad regardless. He’s happy on his massive wage and being able to call himself a Man United player. I really dont think he is motivated to leave even though he should.

Arsenal apparently close to signing Declan Rice and they’re in for Caicedo. That’ll be a monster pivot for them if they pull that off.
