Sounds like we might have got a good one. Is wing his best position?

He plays wing, center and fullback all equally well IMO.

His preferred position is fullback though.

He's also very good at adjusting during a game. For example he could start a game at fullback and the be switched to center and still play well.

All I have seen of him is one game.
-Is fast!
-Is tallish
-scored two tries
-let in two
-Ran away from a bomb

Anyone expecting much from this guy will be disappointed IMO.

you have obviously seen a bit of him bud...do you rate him highly and do you think he will rise to nrl level

Hard to tell mate. He has the skills it's just wether he's up to the physicality of NRL footy. Good prospect none the less and will most likely fight his way into the NRL team if he keeps up his form.

I've only watched 4-5 games of his from the televised coverage of the Q Cup, so I don't have too much of an idea. Just a bit of an insight.

Haven't seen any highlights of the bloke, but I can safely say his name ranks right up there with Dirk Diggler

Finally some sanity when it comes to this guy.

I haven't seen him play, except for the You Tube clip.

I hope he does make it next year, but as it stands hes unproven at NRL level, yet some of you guys have him above the guys who played for us this year.

If Issac Gordan had just spend the last 2 seasons in QLD Cup, I'm sure he'd have a pretty impressive You Tube package as well.

Please show me where anyone said that. Your the one making assumptions here.

I find it incredibly funny when people say certain players were hyped up on here only to see them fail. When the people the were 'hyping' them were only listing the strengths of the said player. The people that don't know a damn thing are guys like you and then we wait for you to come back a year later and rub it in saying "OH SEE I TOLD YOU GUYS HE WAS GOING TO SUCK LOL' When in reality you had nothing to add on the player your just either hoping their a gun and then will say you thought he was great all along or you hope he sucks so you can laugh at everyone who listed his strengths.

The quote above shows just that. You covered all bases so you can come back and say you were right either way.

I don't see the problem that the nay-sayers go on about.

It's hilarious really - Mr Wright has seen him play, and had the hide to say he thought he was a talent.

The fwits having a shot at this opinion with no knowledge of their own are the definition of stupid.

Why the Fugg can we just be happy that we have got a player with potential that needs to be put into a NRL system to see if he has the stamina for the big time.
Talent alone wont get you there neither will the stamina.
Years ago we were happy to get a player or two

Settle down Pal.

I'm sure earlier in this thread it's been mentioned that he's an upgrade on our current backs, I could be wrong, it could of been in another thread.

You talk about making assumptions, well what about the assumptions you've made about me?

When did I say he's crap? I said he's unproven at NRL level.

Why would I want this bloke to fail at our club? How would that benefit me? I hope the kid kills it.

I was just saying that if a bloke like I Gordan had spent the past 2 years in QLD Cup, he prob would of scored a few good tries too.

I'm not trying to question ya talent scouting ability buddy.
