there’s nothing behind this post but a gut feeling. I’ve said his a couple of times now that on the field I feel he hasn’t been near his best for us.

Getting this strange feeling that he is going to be in our top 3 players this year and hit peak form for us.

Anyways here’s a hoping this feeling is accurate 🤞🤞
I feel the same, reckon he will be immense this year.

Very disappointing game for Dale… if he keeps at that level he’s a locker room guy only

Didnt even know he was playing till then

To be fair, the dropped ball was about 2 minutes into his first (only?) stint. I don't think he played more than 15 minutes and he looked indeed pretty ineffective. Wasn't involved that much. It could have been a deliberate tactic by Fitz to slowly get him back into some sort of playing form.
Like Tiger Shark, I'll give him the first month of the season before passing judgment. Of course, he might get a 3-match ban in the meantime for stepping on someone's toes.

I know he has a good effect at training etc but he's delivered about 30% of what I hoped for when we signed him.

And I wasn't even that big a fan when he was at the Storm so didn't expect that much.

At this stage I would be keeping Oregon starting with BHU, and have bench as:
Rudolf
Williams
Hazelton
Hunt < but he needs to be more controlled with his offloads

I was pretty happy with Oregon last night. Not a lot of runs, but they were effective.

First game since July. He’ll do better than that with ball in hand next game.

Can’t fault his work in defence.

19 mins @ x1 Stint is abnormal for him so defs being eased back in and coach/player doesn't have 100% confidence/fitness just yet

Made all his tackles but errors always hurt more when they come from the non-creative players who you expect to keep it kinda simple and focused. But yea going for quick ptb, bit of interference, didn't concentrate enough can happen to anyone
