Hopefully can find some form this year for us. Been a pretty disappointing signing for us (on the field) imo.
It's moreso disappointing that he's rarely on it.

There was a game last season where the Sharks scored SEVEN tries on the back of Finucane quick play the balls. Pretty sure he can still be useful.

Only real argument against Finucane is that they are paying a $500k player $750k so he can help build their culture. Fitz obviously thinks the extra money is worth it but some fans just see a guy getting overpaid relative to his on-field
role.

Yeah I'm fine with his on-field contributions and his pay packet (although would be more like 885 with the cap increase since he signed). Pay def padded up a bit for experience, leadership and other good off-field/culture contributors.
I'm hoping his cheap deal the next year makes up for that because if he can keep similar form and stay on field it is unders.

Too many suspensions and injuries though so atm still a disappointing signing for me

there’s nothing behind this post but a gut feeling. I’ve said his a couple of times now that on the field I feel he hasn’t been near his best for us.

Getting this strange feeling that he is going to be in our top 3 players this year and hit peak form for us.

Anyways here’s a hoping this feeling is accurate 🤞🤞

Good to hear the leadership group is sweet.

As big a loss as wade is, what happens now is guys like Finucane, Brailey, Mcinnes And Hynes set the bar. Him speaking gives me a sense of, they know there is no individual, they’re all playing for each other, and they are almost ready to explode. AFB better stay fit until he gets here

Very disappointing game for Dale… if he keeps at that level he’s a locker room guy only

Same

Didnt even know he was playing till then

To be fair, the dropped ball was about 2 minutes into his first (only?) stint. I don't think he played more than 15 minutes and he looked indeed pretty ineffective. Wasn't involved that much. It could have been a deliberate tactic by Fitz to slowly get him back into some sort of playing form.
Like Tiger Shark, I'll give him the first month of the season before passing judgment. Of course, he might get a 3-match ban in the meantime for stepping on someone's toes.

I know he has a good effect at training etc but he's delivered about 30% of what I hoped for when we signed him.

And I wasn't even that big a fan when he was at the Storm so didn't expect that much.
