I know now I will never not be there for elections again. I obviously couldn't have made a diff here, but I will exercise my voting rights in the future no matter what.

Can anyone recall what the board was when Irvine was voted in? I know there were some changes afterwards. It would be interesting to compare apples with apples instead of just writing off the new guys already. I mean Irvine did ok didnt he, and he was by no means an experienced board member before hand.

Wasn't it nice that a retired electrician received $38k a year for a decade (plus on costs..) to put us in a position that a bunch of individuals sacrificed their own professional and personal lives to save the club, only to be crucified by a bunch of glory hunters who assasinated them purely because they couldn't fight back due to the fact they could face a gaol term by divulging the information shared with them by Asada, ACC and NRL.

That comment just shows how little you know fool. I have never called Irvine anything of the sort and have always maintained that he did a good job (in fact saved the club) and didn't deserve the exit he got. Read back through my posts.

The issues for me were the ASADA investigation by the club, the mistakes made by Irvine and the anger against him in the community and as such I didn't think he was now the best candidate to take the club forward. And it seems a few other people thought the same thing. A shame a few more people on here can't be a bit more objective.

Is is all possible people could stop carrying on about what has happened. It's done, won't change and everyone has to hope and pray the new directors do the right thing and run the joint professionally and in the best interests of the club. No other agendas.

Let it go tips. Support your club. Judge them on their performance and critique that. Just like you do for Irvine. This constant critisism is divisive and encourages negative views of our board and in turn our club. You need to move on or take your bat and ball and go home.
