Article in smh looks to be linking leak to the unity ticket, interesting game developing between the 2 media outlets..

Unfortunately it appears we will be used as the ball due to the connection with DT..

SMH has always had an anti-shark agenda and the direct links of senior DT personnel to the Sharks board will only intensify this.

Why couldn't the leaks be coming from any one of the multitude of lawyers that have seen the report?

What has happened to all the new directors and our chairman who sprouted so much expertise during their campaigns? If there has ever been a time for leadership and a show of strength it is when a front page of a paper screams "link" to a death and some crinulla jerseys, and damning stories running in every news outlet. So far this self promoted pack of business genius has shown zero. Some pathetic wishy washy statement read out with no conviction. In no way would the board be expected to fix problems that may be at the club within a week. But at a time when our brand is being savaged the current board can be found hiding.

I read with interest how business savvy the board are and how they run multi million dollar enterprises, international business experience and all the other over exaggerated hype. If they did in fact possess any talents they would have shown them. Strong business leaders would have come out to reassure the fans, supporters, staff and players that this is being managed. But no. They are allowing stories to run and rumours to circulate without being checked. I know as a supporter I would have liked to see someone from the Club showing some strength.

It is far easier to sit in a closed boardroom, order another plate of cucumber sandwiches and hire a few more people on $6000 a day to do their job for them. All the while a great club suffers further indignity.

I agree with one point mr Cobb, where is mr keogh?

Still overseas on pre-arranged business commitment?

Jeez that sounds familiar, but I'm not sure because he hasn't been lambasted in tele about it..

So it must be a completely different scenario

Shark, the elections are over, yesterday's news. What i am saying is that if a national or State incident occurred I would expect the PM or Premier to step up and assure us that matters are in hand. From either party. If where I live is in the middle of a bush fire or flood I would expect a strong message that somebody is at the helm. That happens in government and it happens in business. The board spent a lot of money and a lot of time telling us how good THEY are. Not how good they are at outsourcing. So it is time for them to step up and arrest this. Our campaign of re-signing players and gaining sponsors must be affected whilst ever there is uncertainty.

Oh FFS here we go...

That's a bit uncalled for.

Mr Cobb is rasing a good point. Surley by now the board should have made a statement to reassure the fans. Even if it was just a pish posh "we're doing all we can" statement.

Could it possibly be. That as the matter is subject to an official ASADA investigation the Board actually cannot say much until its over?

Oh, wait...

Wasn't it the Unity people bagging the previous Board for not stepping up to the plate, being secretive, quiet etc?

Hmmm

Hope everyone that shat on the previous Board is happy now

Keogh is not the chairman is he? Why would he front the media?
If you had any idea the question you would ask is where is Glen Coleman?
