I think we will eventually, but it may have to coincide with the downfall of contact sports.Im still a bit concerned about getting into bed with soccer in this country.
I’m not convinced Australia can sustain a national domestic league.
Will also be interesting to see how they handle the different ethnic elements. I get the feeling the second tier will be far more hardcore.Im still a bit concerned about getting into bed with soccer in this country.

Extra use of Shark Park =Worth having a look at it. Long-term it could be a useful bargaining chip with the NRL.

....
"It was one name that brought a smile to my face when I saw it," Johnson said on Tuesday. "It caught me off guard. I had a pretty good feel for most of the clubs, but that was a surprise to me. I'm pretty excited and I think we should be welcoming this.

Can't see the Government giving much funding to something like this. But ONLY, if we get good funding (government, private or otherwise) and it MAKES and NOT LOSES us money!
Not to mention Sutherland Sharks FC are a bit of a basket caseCan't see the Government giving much funding to something like this.
Also no chance you make money out of this unless they eventually make it to the A League. Even then, don't think many A League clubs are profitable.
Definitely, I hear they've been researching via news.com.au.The board have been doing well, I’m sure they’ve done their research

Hadn't even thought of that... god I hope not. Soccer's actually a pretty obnoxious sport from an organisation/parent perspective to be involved in, even from a young age. Will also be interesting to see how they handle the different ethnic elements. I get the feeling the second tier will be far more hardcore.
And not cheap. Glad my 7 year old missed our on SAP/Dev. $1,000 a season is ****ing ridiculous at that age.Hadn't even thought of that... god I hope not. Soccer's actually a pretty obnoxious sport from an organisation/parent perspective to be involved in, even from a young age.

They did try to bring the ”soccer element” over to sharks a few yrs backWill also be interesting to see how they handle the different ethnic elements. I get the feeling the second tier will be far more hardcore.
