1. Chad kicks goals in Raiders game
2. Ponga not score a last minute win for Knights
3. We win the unlosable game against Dogs

Would of made our season a lot worse. More media scrutiny, player and fans incohersion. The list goes on.

At the moment it appears Hannay, Fitz and Mooney have a good understanding of what direction to take for next year. Imagine Bomber providing advice to Fitz on current players attitutes, behaviour, motivations etc?

But all those things happened. Which is probably a huge reason why they didnt want him.

Not arguing your point - a couple of great recruits and what appears to be a top line coach -just hope the decision makers are sharing our pain in this gap year that they created. 50 year supporters like myself and many others on here are hurting .

The promised land of top 4 will surely be worth it I admit ….

Not arguing your point - a couple of great recruits and what appears to be a top line coach -just hope the decision makers are sharing our pain in this gap year that they created. 50 year supporters like myself and many others on here are hurting .

Let’s be real mate, we were never going to finish anywhere higher than 7th this year and probably bundled out of the finals week 1. I’ll take a gap year, with the likes of Finucane, McInness & Hynes next year any day of the week

Yep - the board approved the multiple meetings , negotiation , and subsequent signing - the work done by the then coach…

Short term pain for long term gain. Should help us try to move towards being a top 4 team rather than a 7th/8th team. Good to see the board are ambitious
