Happy with this. Reckon i might've raised his name a while back, and got howled down as Sharkies having no need for him. Same with Tollman. They would be spewing, what 3 skippers in a row jumped ship? Something's wrong in their water.

When someone mentioned him last year as a potential signing I was under the impression it was to purely play 9. But after seeing him in the 13 jersey and him coming out and saying he wants to play there I’m all for it.

This is the Gallen replacement we’ve been looking for IMO. Won’t be as strong in metres made but his defence is bloody brilliant and exactly what we need.

Apparently on 450k currently. If we could get them to chip in 150-200k and moved someone like Williams to them we should be okay.
I said Mags before as there has been interest there in the past but he's probably not on enough to make it work.

You'd rather move on contributing starting prop and our (currently) second most important defender on 600k and finishes up this year than our sometimes contributing bench prop who is semi-crippled and on 850k for 2021 and 2022?

I get why people don't like Woods, I don't love him either but moving Fifi frees up money to make another really good signing and he is currently contributing less than Woods and on our books for next season too.
I guess in this hypothetical though you can stick with hope slightly trimmed down Fifi will be light enough to get back to near his best, in that case I agree Woods can go...

Its purely a heart decision over a sensible one. Fifita is my second favourite shark ever after Peach. He earnt this pay packet when he was on less. He deserves it. Woods may have decent stats, but has a pea heart and I still don't really see him as a shark. So yeah, if I am choosing between the two of them, I'll pack Woods' bags and rimjob Fifita.

Haha. Thanks mate. I have been on here for nearly 11 years and still don't get the deal with reps.

I get it.
In my heart I'm a Sharks fan before a Fifita fan though so I'd rather look past the fact Fifi was an incredible Sharks player and earned that contract to the fact he is a shadow of himself and not worth that contract now.
Bar a miracle return to form the best thing for the Sharks is not necessarily the best thing for Fifita and unfortunately I prefer results for team over next two years to him getting so much more of our cap than he is able to contribute anymore.

If he just struggles along on the big money this year and next year still worth it for the premiership though.
