I'm really just salty that some people openly screw with the result and **** with the legitimate voting people have put time into posting and CM compiling every week. I don't get the mentality, personally. It's like the kid in class who struggles to keep up so they choose to disrupt everyone else.

Anyone can like anyone they like, I'm all for legitimately voting based on what you thought mattered - stats, moments or trouser tightness. Just don't vote because you want to wreck the game for everyone else. Especially CM.
100%.

This is how I understood your original comments.

you being the only person to give katoa 3 points shows that you screwed with the results

My history of voting shows I consistently pick players that I thought had big performances or showed great improvement which frequently differs from the crowd. Lazy, inneffective effort here Snowy... no points for you!

You might not have heard a few reputable pundits saying they thought Katoa was close to the best on ground. I did, too, and thought the points a worthy reward for an outstanding effort over the past few weeks. Especially in a game like this, where everyone performed well (I should add that he had 12 TB's... that's insane. The week before he had the most run metres on the park, a try and the most LB's. Interesting that the numbers back up my gut feel).

Did you want to share your voting philosophy over the past few years for the benefit of the newbies? I'd dig up the posts where you gloat about ****ing it up intentially, but enough people have seen it that I don't need to.

I get where you're coming from, but I think there are usually enough votes to water down any of the trolling. Kinda like Ruan Sims voting without watching probably didn't end up impacting the Dally M.

I'd like to be as confident, but it hasn't been the case in the past and it doesn't look like it's getting much better.

I'll leave it at that in any case. All the points have been made I think.

About 8 tackle breaks in one crab across the field

That would still leave him with twice as many as anyone else the week before. And he'd have out-crabbed the crabmaster himself, Jesse Ramien, which in itself is phenomenal.

If the team supports your crabbery it's fine.
Are you crabbing and finding a runner? Are you crabbing and finding the bit of field the halves want you to be at? Are you crabbing and you are OG Fifita who will burst through the line when you identify any gap in defence?

Ronnie had a massive case of the crabs n weekend, worked out okay

We always laugh watching Jack Bird. He's a fantasy points machine. 4 tackles busts on every 2m sideways run.

Tackle busts is one of the most useless stats ever
It's up there with try assists, post contact metres and play the ball speed.

Even “missed tackles” is a dubious stat imo. BHU’s legs tackle on Tino as he scored counts as a miss. Imo that is an effort play. He was 1% chance of stopping him but still put in the effort.

A bit like line break assists assists!
The try contribution stat is probably the best one yet. Completely subjective, meaningless in just about every practical sense and recognised by one commentator once... For Matt Moylan. Brilliant.

Not having a go at you but I thought the votes was for players performance in that game

Doesn’t the vote become a bit irrelevant if you look at anything else other then that ?
