This is no way being critical of CM's efforts, just to clarify.

It is pretty openly become an extension of the arguments people are having and more personal point scoring. There's **** posting and gaming the results for a laugh. It's a shame really, the results would be genuinely interesting if they were legitimate.

I still think players who are getting the top 3 spots deserve them.

Some players might get the odd vote that some feel doesn’t deserve them but it hasn’t really affected the results overall.

It's not what I think, it's pretty common knowledge. You can find conversations saying as much if that was the way you'd like to spend a Sunday.

Impossible to have a proper conversation that involves tribdall or Moylan.

I'll get shot for being reasonable, but we haven't seen Tricky against challenging opponents. Early signs are looking good though. His defence is solid (Wade is very helpful too) and we're adapting to a new attacking style that's almost dependent on him... Nicho looks a bit deer in the headlights at times.

I'm liking our attack atm. There's plenty of support in the middle, Blayke's running. Forwards are getting back to their best. Would still like to see Nikora used, we've moved completely away from that.

Hopefully we'll be less predictable to teams for the rest of the season as a result. If Tricky can show some steel under pressure, Nicho can find his groove and our forwards stay healthy, we might give the comp a shake yet.

We’re gunna have to offer Godking Trindall a better deal than Tino’s just signed if we want to keep him the way some people think he’s playing.

I do think Nicho is playing good though, not deer in the headlights, and I also don’t think our attack is dependent on Trindall - he’s just slotted into it. It was good before, it’s good now, it’d be good if we had to swap Moylan back in.

But like @CrazyMatt says, I do think that overall the votes cast closely resemble the true best players of the game.

Three rounds? I'd have to take another look. Which, honestly, I wont. But that doesn't change the fact that it happens and will again in all likelihood. Like I said, it's not been a secret.

Totally agreed. Plus some are voting after watching on tv, with benefit of replays, and after looking at stats etc. Others are voting after watching the game at the ground, where you notice some things you miss on tv, but miss others. That’s why it’s all added together and ends up a decent representation.

Originally we had the “rate every player out of 10” system, and that is useful for comparing players on the edge of the 3-2-1 like Trindall and Moylan, but it’s almost impossible to do without watching a replay of the game.

Happy to move on, but I chose the last 3 games given they are the ones Trindall came in for Moylan and I assume (rightly or wrongly) that this was Trindall agenda based???

Yet he only polled 1 out of 3 and he played a pretty fair game against the Rabbits.

Can't speak for Sparkles... but imo the votes end up representing three guys who played well - and that's enough.

The objectively "best" player could actually poll zero votes.

It's impossible at times because people want to bait others into an argument rather a discussion.

I'm really just salty that some people openly screw with the result and **** with the legitimate voting people have put time into posting and CM compiling every week. I don't get the mentality, personally. It's like the kid in class who struggles to keep up so they choose to disrupt everyone else.

Anyone can like anyone they like, I'm all for legitimately voting based on what you thought mattered - stats, moments or trouser tightness. Just don't vote because you want to wreck the game for everyone else. Especially CM.
