no way

moylan has contributed to tries this year

brailey has literally done **** all
I'm with ya on Brailey. I don't rate him one bit now. He's decline is so evident and it's sad not many other people see it.

But he's better than Moylan. Moylan is playing the worst of any 5/8 we've had in a decade imo. Least Robson could ****ing tackle and kick more than 20 metres. All moylan offers is a gentle passing game. It's embarrassing he's still getting picked.

The guy is extremely quick and skilled but he is so reluctant to run and engage the opposition. He's fearful of the contact. If you watch him, on the rare occasion he runs he stops and passes, but if he cant do that and has to be tackled then he crouches his head over, which is a natural protective mechanism to avoid the possibility of being tackled hard. I understand he's a slight build in a game full of monsters but its not good enough.

Watching him last game he seems to regularly take a few steps from dummy half, engage the first defender, and then pass.

I'd assume that what he's doing is part of the plan and he's following instructions.

If you compare his play the ball speed with everyone else on the team, it probably gives you a good idea why he doesn't want to get tackled.

That's only a fairly recent thing for Cook though. He used to be the running, gunning, line breaking, tackle busting sand dune champion of the NRL for good period. Is the change him protecting himself or a change in the gameplan?

I hope he gets whacked in a tackle so he can get over it and get used to it

There were games live where you would see Maloney get absolutely belted and I swear within the next play he was back up and would execute the next play for a try

I can't find the logic in the idea he's afraid of contact with the ball considering what he does without it. If you're avoiding contact #9 is a really bad place to hide.
