He got outplayed by his opposite number again but if he keeps that as his standard that’ll happen very littleHas set himself a bench mark tonight , this is what is expected from a top NRL hooker every week .
It was from the sight of seeing the Big Cheese opposite him in the scrumApparently he was barring up in the scrum
So you think Smith played better than him?He got outplayed by his opposite number again but if he keeps that as his standard that’ll happen very little
Exactly. If his work doesn't wind up in the match highlights though it didn't happen. He had more luck tonight but effort & intent weren't much different.Genuinely don't think he played any different than usual. Grabbed a cheeky offside penalty or two, tackle his arse off, gave great service and was around everything. Just resulted in a try and TA tonight
Agree , but would add he also made a couple more decisive runs from the ruck last nightGenuinely don't think he played any different than usual. Grabbed a cheeky offside penalty or two, tackle his arse off, gave great service and was around everything. Just resulted in a try and TA tonight
Wonder how’d he’d play if his other brother got injured as wellSo this is what it rakes to motivate Blayke!
'He is going to be my Why for rest of season': Brailey's vow for injured brother
Blayke Brailey dedicated his match-winning try to injured brother Jayden, and revealed after Cronulla’s gritty 22-12 triumph how players had trained on their own during a three-day break.www.nrl.com
Andrew Johns loves Blayke as well …Kayo commentary team are suggesting he will play origin in the next few seasons
He didn't look very tired in the 68th minute when he scooted to create a 3 on 2 and then backed up through to the middle to score.Give Cam minutes at dummy half during game and then goes back to lock, Brailey returns with more energy to do more and take more runs, doesnt have to hold back to manage his energy and workload. He's been a good defensive dummy half, time to help him unlock all his skills and become an attacking one also
I get that a few people have had the thought that Blayke's attacking output might improve if he didn't play 80 and that's a reasonable hypothesis. I just don't think it's based in any fact.He didn't look very tired in the 68th minute when he scooted to create a 3 on 2 and then backed up through to the middle to score.
Brailey's not getting worn out, and Cam is going gangbusters playing in a different position. Find a new narrative mate.
