Who on earth was voting? I watched the game and while I didn't think Brailz had a shocker he probs didn't deserve a Dally M vote either considering how many other good performers there were

So I checked the stats in case I missed something and they actually paint an even worse picture for Brailz, alot more missed tackles than usual and he wasn't top tackler this week (yes he made some good tackles and occasionally threw a good pass where it needed to go)

He get's a hard time because he just doesn't offer as much with the ball in hand as we would like so now there is less forgiveness for any other mistakes (perceived or otherwise) that we can argue about who was to blame for till the cows come home.

I know he's got one of the toughest and most fatigue inducing roles on the field but it doesn't mean we shouldn't want better and he is the specialist paid and chosen for that position that has alot of hype behind him for a bloke that is now in his mid 20's and hardly seems to have evolved much in a couple seasons

Yea he's still young but he is also far from a rookie teenager - maybe he will bloom a bit later but he shouldn't be immune to reasonable critique where valid and appropriate in the mean time.

Perhaps he is caught in an awkward position between the way he wants to play and the way the coach wants him to play but it's hard to tell with his nonchalant laid back demeanor so who knows if that even bothers him or if he is content where his game and performances are at.

Look I am sure he wants to improve and is keen to keeping learning but it's hard to tell if the roadblocks come from within or are more external.

The most surprising thing was opposition players getting into our ruck to challenge the loose ball on the ground without us having a dummy half and it being play on. I nearly always see the ref penalise the defending team for not being square or breaking early (or playing at the arm)

Guess in these 2 instances on the weekend it was pretty clear cut we simply just didn't pick the ball up so it was deemed fair game.
Possibly outside of Hynes I don't think we have a player that couldn't be replaced by someone better

Is it time to give Berrell a debut?
there is a huge gap between nsw cup and first grade, but if berrell can have a few weeks of this form there will be no choice but to give him a debut

he cant be worse than brailey, who is worse than **** these days

Not that I’m disliking what Blake’s doing, but I’d probably go for Berrell a shot before McInnes. Really like McInnes’ energy in his hit ups. There was a play Blayke went for a bit of a run and there was no one there with him. He had to float around and the only one putting their hand up for it was McInnes.

From outside our squad you mean... but then there is the cap....

I would argue that Ronaldo & Nikora are near the top of the tree in their respective positions at present

Nikora in this form yes. Ronnie after his last performance for me shows he still has a way to go. Those errors he made were park footy level. Should not happen. Until he really sorts that out I won’t consider him in the top tier wingers just yet.
