It's a nice fit but only if they (Labour Health) have paid the amt of appropriate coin for the privilege.

Yeah thats my point. They were paying for the priviledge last year, then they I guess we are assuming here, chose to go back of jersey. If thats what they wanted to do then I dont think we should do them any favours. If they want FOJ exposure, then pay for it.

Hey mate, can you summarise what is said if you listen? Up here mate we only get hlll billy music

Nothing unexpected.

They spoke a lot about the All Stars:

- Very excited and happy to represent his people
- They have a lot of injuries and are light up front, but players chosen will do well.

Cronulla related:

- Very happy and has settled in at the the club, loving his footy. Glad that his family wanted to come back to Sydney.
-Will definitely be playing 6
- Robbo's organised play will compliment his off the cuff style.

How many x factor players over the years have said that Robbo compliments their game. The list must be quite large by now.

To be fair, Robbo had some strong games with Toddy, he just looked like number 2 when he was relied on to be number 1

I agree. He is a team player. Does lack the polish. And age is against him. I guess what im saying is he would be valuable in the right team. But a team lacking kicking options is not 1 of them. Funnily enough, if we had Todd as our 6 and Ennis as our 9, Robbo adding direction it would work well. Barba is a gun, hopefully he can get us some metres from the boot though

Age certainly is against him. When he was halfback in Parra's charge to the GF in 2009, I thought he was old then. That was five years ago!

I get the feeling Ennis will be relied upon heavily for kicking.

Probably. The problem isn't just in general play though, Robbo's attacking kicking game is crap as well, especially his bombs. Hopefully Barba shows a bit in this area.

I've always thought Robbo's attacking bombs were hit miss... some are ok some are rank average.... However i do recall Toddy putting a few into row z as well.

Robson's grubbers generally find the mark i'd say.

General play kicking is our biggest issue. What's the point of having a forward pack that can dominate up the field when you are constantly letting the opponent off the hook with kick meters.

If the forward pack is dominating up the field, then kick metres shouldnt be an issue. Kick accuracy maybe. A good set you would wanna be kicking around half way or further. If you are behind the 40 you are gunna struggle in field position anyway unless you kick it into touch and dont allow a return.

If our blokes can get the ball around half way, we should be trying to get a kick to at least the 10 metre zone. rolling into the in-goals is even better

We haven't had an a attacking kicking game in a long time. Carney and robbo couldn't put them up and our backs couldn't catch them.
We use to try and get a repeat set because it was a safer option

I'm hoping that Barba does well for us this year but I am worried about it being like having Carney here. Carney was our go to man, all our plays revolved around him pretty much, if teams shut Carney down, they would shut us down. If Barba is having an off game or he's injured we need other playmaker in there to take over and run the show. We have found out that guy is not Jeff Robson.

If Barba was injured, I'd have no problems in putting Val at six. This is why Val needs to be in that team somewhere, even if it's on the wing, he needs to sniff out plays and back up half chances. If Barba and Holmes are on their game, we suddenly have two X factors and we can keep the opposition guessing.

As our astute ole friend in Qld once stayed when I asked at the end of 2013 when Todd was injured and missed manly game "sadly we are a team without a plan B.". I am resting alot easier knowing we have val Ennis and a more polished backline if things go pear shaped.
