I can really see Gordon being a good general play kicker, atleast for when we're pegged deep in our territory - he's got a big boot on him and accuracy, look at all the other top goal kickers and they're all great at general play - Reynolds, Thurston etc.

Holmes has a pretty decent drop out on him so hopefully while he's learning his trade in NSW cup (I presume he'll be starting there) one can only hope he's doing a bit of kicking.

By that logic Craig Fitzgibbon should have been a general play kicker.

I'm sure the papers are playing it up, but I wish Barba would stop talking about Brisbane altogether. It just sounds like he's making excuses for his bad form. Man up, move on and focus on being at your best for the mighty Sharkies.

you do realise he would have been just simply answering a question from a reporter

It's highly unlikely he just came out of the blue and spoke about the Broncos

I do realise, but it's been done to death and it's not doing him any favours.

I read that article today, don't usally mind him but gee he waffled on. That's the modern game of footy paying overs, snagging someone for unders getting out foxed by other teams in recruitment grabbing a promising junior from them, it's a game of chess.. Benny appears to have got lucky but fail and his next move will be overseas

I like Roy, makes a lot of sense in most of his pieces. Makes most league journo's look stupid, not that they need that highlighted.

Yeah a bit of a waffling article that points out nothing new in regards to player payments and recruiting on potential, but I'll give Roy a pass.

I think a lot make themselves look stupid! But I agree abt Roy, he is generally level headed and most importantly he is "FAIR", which is why I take notice of what he writes.
