every week melbourne had a suspension or an injury, they had no defenders for the most part of the year and it took time for hernandez to get into the teams style but when he did the victory were hard to beat

the atmosphere was great, 33 odd thousand fans, biggest regular season crowd for sydney, didnt disappoint, atmosphere was as close as you could get to a english premier league crowd

flares,chanting , cheering and jeering, just a pity there were so many wankers [melbourne fans] from victoria.. who are dead set spastics.. "er where the bloody hell is central coast" .. what the hell does the central coast have to do with a sydney game?

i was at this game how good was it, awesome atmosphere

due to the stupid rule of cards following over from pre season cup to proper season

first game of season have 7 players out (3, due to cards carrying over from preseason cup)

3 players copped suspensions due to having 2 yellow cards in pre season cup..brosque and giraldi (one got sent off, but cant remember who it was)..

2 players in olyroos team (bridge and musialik)

2 players injured (aloisi and santalab - who is out with a quad tear)
