Me three. Hodko has never really excited me.

On the radio on Saturday Massoud said Titans were going for Mbye, even though he has a contract for next year.

He'd be the top of my list if we could snag him.

PS. This is my 1,000th post. It took 5 years, not sure if that means I'm a poor forum contributor or if it means I have a life.

Besides DCE I think my next choice would have been Elgey. The kid looks like he's going to be an absolute gun. Hard to believe he's only played something like 10 games.

Hodkinson shouldn't even be mentioned as a partner for chad. It was one or the other.

Wether you rate Hodkinson or not, I couldn't pay 750k a year for a guy who has had 4 major knee treatments in 4 years. And the one he had a recon on in his 20's was the one that was playing up last year. And he's only 25. Too much cap in a player that may not be on the park long.

That is my line of thinking, if we don't get maloney (which I hope we do) rather Chad partner with bird/barba/nu rekin Chad and hodko would be very bland.

Chad & Nu Brown/Barba they switch between 6 & 14 depending on form. Before the Injury I liked the look of nu brown, has a nice step and looks to be confident.

Is he going to get the most though? I don't think so, when you've played as poorly as he has this season it has to drop your price.

I don't think Chad has the ability to lead us around and do all our kicking. He is a big improvement on Robbo but unless Barba stands up we really need another half (as mentioned before Maloney would be my choice).

It's a tough situation and no answer is perfect. That's the reason why I think it's unreasonable to be too pissed off with what we end up with. We did the best we could to get the best answer in DCE.

Correct, but think their cap will be tight now re-signing DCE plus adding Myles and supposedly Lussick. I believe Maloney also lives in the shire? I reckon offer him $350 to $400k we'd be getting him and chad for the price of DCE

Maybe try for Maloney and if that doesn't happen just work with Brown/Barba/Bird and see what happens.

In fact, maybe just use those three anyway and hold off on spending money.

Yeah I seem to remember someone in here saying Chad signed for around 350k to 375k.
