I doubt yesterday did Flanno any favours. Yes the discipline was better but our attack and execution were horrible as usual.
And if the Roosters hold the ball they win by 20.
Nothing is improving thats the main issue. We jagged a scrappy win yesterday, might jag another one next week then that will be followed by poor play and losses.
His style of play with a rubbish halfback means decent performances only occur 50% of the time.
Its a cycle and its been that way for years.

yep i don't think yesterday was anything to get excited about, in regards to the direction of the club.
All the win did was give a bragging right, and 2 points on the ladder. The weakness that have been evident for a long time are still there. Flannos either got make drastic changes, or expect to be replaced. rd 13 deadline is gone, so we can't bring in another half now. So its Robbo or Murphy, and it doesn't sound like Murphy will get a run

I agree. Flanno was trying to tell people that it was a good performance that won the day, but I think Trent Robinson summed it up best when he described the team as trying to score off every play for the full 80. Even Gallen disagreed with him.
He is sounding increasingly desperate to me.

**** thats a tough one. Fierce competitor, but poorly disciplined at times. Can pull off the big plays when needed (thinking the game vs Canberra a few weeks back for 1).
Wouldn't say no to the idea, but wouldn't be my first choice.

Nah, not for me, he's a effort player, better than Robson but a limited skilled half, imo, his best position is 9.

Yes it would be great for Nu to get back for at least a couple of games this year, even if its NSW cup.
I can see him in the mix for the 6 next year depending on who else we end up with.
Great bench option at the very least.
