I'm genuinely excited for next year now, very healthy competition for spots in the backs, 2nd row, even the halves if Stanley joins and this Murphy kid is any good + Nu Brown, the only spot we need more in is FRFs. Hopefully Dan hunt is coming like someone said

A fifita, D Fifita, Homua + one more desperately needed


Prior is halfway to becoming a prop but needs to live in NSW cup, the rest excluding GAL (who will retire wearing the 13) aren't and shouldn't first choice props. We need some big strong men ala Souths, Bulldogs.

PS : Seriously tho , Lutes with good early service might eventually be better than Beale .

The dragons attack was rubbish for most of the year and Beale still outscored Ricky. Ricky got a full year to prove himself and other then one moment of brilliance against SBW did diddly.

David Hala would have been a great buy , went to the Titans cheap , runs straight and hard and can offload and good defensively .

as far as true front row forwards with grunt goes... i dont rate Taga / prior or Arona in that category..(Houma i am not sure on) . we need another big body like the fifita's to fill the last bench spot especially if Gal rotates into the front row as well. Apart from the fifita brothers we are light on for big bodies! and that assumes David Fifita will actually be a regular first grader next year...

D Fifita is a good footballer but people need to remember (including me) that he is not his brother who when playing well is a freak and unstoppable. If David wants a regular first grade jersey he is probably best off just running hard and straight and throwing his weight and size around. 1 Crab family.

I think he needs to go there for the sake of putting our best 17 on the field, if he stays at lock that's one less of Tupou, Graham, Arona, Bukuya, Lewis, Heighno, Prior that makes the 17

And it also means we have A Fifita and Taga as starting props with either D Fifita or Houma on the bench

I think everyone is being to hard on d fifita because he isn't like Andrew straight away. He played a couple of games and looked. Better than when Andrew first started but we had to play him because he was on a big salary

if you think about it the Fifita boys have a great opportunity - they can both lock down the front row for the sharks... 2 brothers starting regularly in the front row - our version of the burgess bros...

the fifita's have an opportunity to make a small piece of history at the sharks... lets hope flanno has clued them in on that fact!
